The New Yorker caricature of Obama may have been intended as satire but for those who listen to the words that come out of his mouth and pay any attention to the kind of company he keeps, it becomes evident that it may not have been so far from the truth. I would vote for Condoleezza Rice, Collen Powell, Hillary Clinton, or even George W. Bush for a third term, none of which are ideal, before I would vote for Obama.

Not sure what you're talking about in regards to partisanship and the notion that reading quotes made by the person in question is idiot bating shows that you really don't have a counter argument aside from childish name calling. His words speak for him, Barack Obama is a radical (probably a racist black supremacist) whose ideology we have only scratched the surface of.

I take offense to the notion that because I bother to investigate a candidate, something which very few Obama supporters are willing to do for fear of what they may find, somehow makes me a racist. I would vote for a black candidate for President in a heartbeat if he supported equality as opposed to financial segregation, American culture as opposed to undefined "change" and most importantly strength as opposed to weakness. Barack Obama is on the wrong side of all of these issues.

Hopefully this thread takes a more civilized turn although I realize this is unlikely as their are real flaws in Obama's character being discussed here.

I thank Gabon and you for telling me about this. I had no idea. He just seemed so charismatic, I admit i didn't know anything about his policies but he seemed honest and I would have a beer with him. He seemed like a decent bloke, I have lots of black friends and they're all very cool and intelligent, it seems not every one of them is though.

Why don't you try to rationalize the quotes for us? Words have meanings and the meaning is pretty clear. People are sick of the games politicians play when they say one thing and then claim that they meant something completely different and it's not going to fly here.

Still, it couldn't hurt to hear your interpretation of the mentioned quotes...
