The name says it all. I don't like playing games with privates who have only just finished their 4th game and are assigned a rank from that. I think that a new recruit should play 10 games, and then are given a more appropiate rank. The more games a player plays, the more accurate their rank becomes.
This will improve gameplay by telling players what type of person they are playing: for example a new recruit that has lost 4 games in a row is still a private (normally). A more accurate rank for such a player would be cook (at that time).

Are you under the impression that privates are significantly better than cooks? If you are I suggest you rethink you rankings.ManBungalow wrote:The name says it all. Re: New recruits play 10 games then given rank
This is a bad idea.
First, they get a rank after 5 games, which signifies that they at least completed 1 game already on the site. New recruits who deadbeat can only have a maximum of four games, meaning they never get a rank.
Second, why would a new recruit want to keep playing for 10 games just to get a rank (and thereby getting to join team games)? That will drive off more people than it would help.

Worth repeating. I remember being a poor ?, and t'was a big moment when I finally completed enough games to have a proper rank. And this was BEFORE the team game restriction.Night Strike wrote:This is a bad idea.
