They view him as godly, not just a normal human being like you or me. But he is not THE Christian God, who is his father, and who Christians believe created the Earth. I don't see why that is so hard to follow, even if you don't believe in it yourself.

do post a link to that as I can find no such painting. regardless, since you are posing this topic towards the christian god, i would speculate that he is not gay, simply stated, he detests homosexuality. my personal idea of god would not lead him to be gay either, as my got is a natural force that has no physical form, therefor no presence of mind. this is due to the lack of physical ability to think since that seems to require a cpu or brain. i think it is absurd to even pose such a question as the sexuality of the universe's creative power source but since this is not a serious debate, i suppose that true logic and reason can be suspended for the interim.
