I haven't got time to read this thread fully now (just got back from holiday, will do tomorrow) but I seem to be being voted for voting shadow, who's been confirmed a townie how?

He verified his claim by stealing mandy's vote. I will say that this wagon on you is totally uncalled for, because even though I believed Shadow, it was always up in the air.

I'm baaack . I just won that game against Bones so i'm 1 win in 1vs1 against him and the 8 player escalating that he handed me a few months back. I moved into a new flat on Tuesday which is Monday to you Americans because of the timezone diff. I had no computer access for 2 days . Anyways reading through the new pages I guess I will vote for Skittles so Vote Skittles. The prod is duely noted.

Anyway, I think the exile lead is a bit less of a deal than everyone's making it out to be. Not voting on a random bandwagon on a guy who wasn't given time to claim isn't exactly what I'd call scummy. Rather, I'd like to take a look at the people who were so willing to jump on jake. This doesn't clear exile in my mind, and I'd rather hold my vote for now than head down that avenue so rashly, but I'll give him fair warning that if I find him lynch worthy, I won't hesitate to act.

Anywho, let's see what crazy, far-fetched theories I have for us today

This game is pretty full of strong players, downside of which is whatever "slipups" happen are usually very minor and aren't definitive scum tells. Even nag's "scum level 9000" post (probably the most scum-tell tell so far) isn't that comparably bad. In my opinion, very careful voting would be a good way to go given the situation.

As for shadowstar, I have learned that no claim can be entirely believable. nekocatbusthing is from a very popular movie. Very popular. Even many non-anime watchers have seen my neighbor totoro, so even if he's never seen it, it wouldn't be hard to find a lot of information on it. Sure it seems random, but look up anime on wikipedia and Miyazaki's name shows up. Click on Miyazaki and totoro is right there. Also, a vote-stealing bus driver? Really? His vote stealing powers have been more or less confirmed (barring some genius scum teamwork between mandy and shadow) but his bus driving really hasn't. Having a mafia vote stealer is mch more understandable than a bus driving vote stealer. I'm not saying that I suspect shadow of anything scummy, just that his claim isn't completely believable to me. I trust him for now, but if he slips he'll be in the same suspicion boat as anyone else.

Hmmm.... Well I've gotta say I don't really find any of the people getting voted at the moment particularly scummy, I mean there's a small residual scummy feel with Exile but I think I've always got that about him, and Skittles really doesn't seem much more or less scummy then most people to me, at the moment, except the fact that he backed down when the pressure started on him but that's only enough for a FOS: Skittles, not a vote in my opinion.

AD's been quiet lately, usually not a good sign with him, but other then one day of Skof's game I haven't been in a game with him in months so he may just be busy. What's up with LoVo? Did I miss a post other then the one a while back saying he was sick?

I have no reason not to believe Shadow's claim ATM, even though Kwan's theory does have merit and a vote-stealing bus driver is slightly odd, but it's a game designed and run by a Frenchman, can't expect it to make much sense.

Just thinking out loud. I'm gonna do some re-reading here in a bit and see if I can't find answers to a couple questions before I post them.

Regarding the blue part, yes it has.

Oddly uncoerced Role Claim: I'm a Copier. I copied Shadow last night to catch him in a lie. Unfortunatly, he really is a Bus Driver (I am to Bus Drive this Night). Also, I didn't get the Vote Stealing power, which totaly bites if you ask me. So, unless there are Mafia Bus Drivers, Shadowstar is pro-town (as well as being a vote-stealing bastard. )

The reason for this claim: TO SHADOWSTAR: Scratch my back and I'll scratch yours. Since you are (in my eyes) a confirmed Townie, I consider you to be a good target for Bus Driving (since the fact that you are confirmed power role makes you NK-worthy). I believe that my adorable goatee makes me a target worth saving as well. So, how about it, you switch me with someone you find less likely to be NKed and I'll switch you with someone I think of as scummy. Scum will either think that I'm bluffing and thus create a possibility for NKing one of their own OR they will buy this preposterous story and we shall be safe from NKs. How about it? Do we have a deal?

boys, i am not scum, not that i can prove it but someone should be able to investigate me, anyway, it might be in the best interest of town to replace me, as much as i could love a life of playing games my thesis deadline is monday 25, i still have patients to attend, a seminary to run, instructions to attend, recently i finished of work as a psychologist replacement in a center for battered women and i am pondering if im so desperate for money as to work with the aggressors, and pondering if im up to the challenge or not, of course with the frenchy not working money is something to be concern about, but do as you want, you either investigate me and give me some time for get active, replace me or just lynch me because i am kinda submarining for the first time ever, i could like to keep my other games, but giving that this game have the system which allows me to participate the less, it could be the one easier to give up for me.
