Well said. Pac-10 is a 2-loss team in their crappy conference. Just think what they'd be if they played a SEC schedule (don't want to hear about the USC-Ark game - it was the first game of the year and Ark was w/o McFadden).
I'm pulling for Florida because it's another SEC team but it still doesn't lessen the sting that I feel LSU has been playing the better ball lately. Their 2 losses was against the Referees at Auburn and against themselves at Florida (still can't believe how they self-destructed that game). Anyway, I hope LSU has the chance to take their frustrations out on USC in the Rose.

new polls just out and Gators over Michigan in both polls just have to wait for BCS tonight...and Machiavelli,,,,a good defense would have stopped the Troy Smith show,,no worries we can take up the slack,,noone wants to see a BIG-10VS BIG-10 REMATCH for the national title anyway

They made a mistake with florida. When they showed their team stats they showed about 18 starting Seniors on the team, yet the guy who announced that they would be in the NC said that they had a young team.
Either way you are losing Leak and some of your key defensive guys, I don't think Florida will be AS tough next year. Who knows maybe the experienced Georgia team will put up a win next year (A man can dream).

alright fine give me two years, still think next year is possible, but in a year or two the recruits that techs finally gotten a hold of will start paying off(Georgia has controled the local recruiting field of late)
Incidently, I found it strange that both GT and Georgia have the lowest percentage of graduating football players in their respective confrences.

Alot of that actually has to do with the fact that Georgia is a young team. Over half of our starters and most of our starting O and Special teams will be back next year.
Some of the best recruiting goes to out of state schools. Florida, Tennessee, and Auburn get more of the good players from Georgia than we do. We also messed up a couple of deals. If I remember right, Darren McFadden's first choice was Georgia but we turned him down for some reason and he ended up staying close to home.
