Dude do you have any idea what a lie detector is? It can check claims. This is why I wished for a massclaim earlier.

Seems to be a less-useful version of a cop. Not a role its worth everyone claiming over..

Do you get their alignment, or just whether they're the character they say they are? Can you only use it if someone's claimed?

What I meant is that the role has an ability to see if a person was lying or not in a specific quote that I send to the mod.

The thing is- with the doc protecting you, if ani's in fact a townie, all the mafia has to do is kill him tonight, which would mean we've wasted a day (can't see us lynching anyone else) and an investigation.

I agree that waiting will hurt us more than not. We don't have to prove beyond a doubt that someone is scum, and in fact, most scum who are lynched are caught on non-conclusive evidence. But we have a pretty safe idea that either Ani is scum or PCM is lying. Shouldn't we find out instead of waiting for the answer to come to us?
