the inherent luck element of the game
combined with point structure makes
it simply amazing anyone could get to 5000.

doing it without teams or grinding out a few points a game against newcomers
makes 5k 1 hell of an achievement

In the end, it's only a game and anybody who wanted to put 5+ hours a day into studying strategy would be able to easily attain 5000. For me it isn't worth the effort, but hey we've all got different goals.
