Having played nearly 300 times with Scott, I can tell you he is at the very top of his game. Does not matter what game anybody plays. He is at the top and winning at an insane rate as of late. Anybody who thinks this is undeserving has never played a game with Scott. At this rate it will not be long before he makes it to number 1. Anybody who thinks 8 man freestyle speed games are easy to win is sorely mistaken. There are so many factors that can wreck your game. Right now he is the best there is at this style. Between Poo, Scott, and Rashid wins come rarely for a lowly major like me. I still enjoy the games! Anyhow Scott deserves this. Truly one of the games best! Congrats!

Ever since that fucker got CM my win ratio has gone down from around 40% to around 20%.

In the end, it's only a game and anybody who wanted to put 5+ hours a day into studying strategy would be able to easily attain 5000. For me it isn't worth the effort, but hey we've all got different goals.

Hate to break it to you. Just because you study maps, does not mean you are gonna make 5K. Only the best can right now.

but I liked it better when the top of the scoreboard was at 3000 points and 5000 seemed to be an impossible dream.

Spam!? no way!.. to be honest i had no idea this thread was for you... i was just commenting on the title regarding 5k not being what is used to be (i thought it was a reference to point inflation).. you know: 'beige is the new Black' ,'Thursday is the new Friday', '5000 is the new 4000', 'hake is the new Halibut' that kind of thing. I was just mixing my metaphors for a little comedic affect. (but then good comedy needs to be topical and i appear to have utterly failed in both)
