How many tournament games can a freemie hold?
Hi, I'm doing a tournament (the ULTIMATE TOURNAMENT) but I'm a free member. It involves holding 4 games at a time, and although I can support this, I would prefer to be able to play other games myself, as the tournament will have 88 rounds (although they are freestyle). I don't particularly want to have nearly 2 years of no games except for the tournament ones. So I ask this: do tournament games count towards the 4 game limit? If they do, I think I'll have to get one of the premiums in my tourney to host the games.

highly suggest you to not hold a tournament until you have a decent amount of games finished (preferably at least 100)

You've included a few different issues in your first post.
1) Tournament games DO count toward your 4 game limit. There are no special slots reserved for tournaments (or anything else for that matter). You're going to have to buy premium if you want more than 4 games.
2) If you start a tournament, you receive what we call Tournament Privileges which allow you to make specially labeled empty tournament games that are password protected. You do NOT have to be a premium to receive these privileges; just fill up a tournament that meets our minimum public tournament requirements which are found in the Tournament Handbook.

So if you want to host a tournament with lots of games you need a "co-host" that's premium?Night Strike wrote:You've included a few different issues in your first post.

No, I was slightly unclear. Being an organizer has NOTHING to do with being a freemium or premium. If you wish to PLAY in a tournament, those games you play in count toward your 4 slots (you don't get any extra slots for tournament games).Joodoo wrote:So if you want to host a tournament with lots of games you need a "co-host" that's premium?Night Strike wrote:You've included a few different issues in your first post.
