we came 6th in our group! :D :D :D :D lol. I'm going to concentrate more this round.

woohoo 1st place for me and edbeard. considering we never played together before this tourney and that i'm the lousiest team player ever i think it's a great achievement

Great this is up and running again!

Pity that all 3 Legends of War teams are in the same half.... although I have also just noticed that the other half is worse for the Monkis with 4!

There was not a draw. All the teams were assigned based on the performance from the Round 1. I think on the first page I have that process described.

Anyhow there will be 6 teams proceeding to the next round, so all the clans have equal chance of representation in the finals. ;)

a likely story!
Legends of War - all 3 in the same pool
Monki's - 4 in pool A (larsin and jons in pool B .... their new monki entry helped them slip through the net)
Thota .....hmmmmm 50 50 split lovely !

i wish to speak to the manager... ;)

I really didn't intend to stir anything up here!, it was just an idle observation.

As a clan we long ago decided not to play any more games amongst ourselves, as beating other people up was so much more rewarding, so it is very unusual for me to have to play 8 games (plus hopefully 8 more ;) ) against them now.

Stirring anyone in THOTA seems to offend there imaginary nobility status, so be careful jim, they might team up and try to join all your public games to "teach you a lesson":( but hey, what would i know about anything like that...

I believe this is the rather vague line being referred to.

SO I assume that we were placed in order of record in the first round, say A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H...and then placed into 2 pots: A,G,C,F and B,H,D,E would fit the description above, but unfortunately so would A,G,D,E and B,H,C,F!

Please clarify Andrew! - Thanks.

(and you know it's just because we are all such competitive souls :) )

There was 4 groups (A,B,C,D) of 6 players to place into 2 groups.

So the new groups were assigned in the following manner (goes like a snake, picking every second team):

Group 1
A1
C1
D2
B2
A3
C3
D4
B4
...

Group 2
B1
D1
C2
A2
B3
D3
C4
A4
...

And so on.

And I certainly was not checking clan membership while assigning players. Heck, I have so much to do running this tournament anyhow!

I am looking for a sub team right now. Stand by for the games to start.
