Get some friends to come and vote for B then? As it seems like A is pulling away.Hellmanns wrote:You are right, it is the best representation of how the world sees Brazil, it is a stereotype and therefore It would be ok to choose the first one (A) as this is a international game.oaktown wrote:I'm going to guess that the aforementioned post wasn't made in all seriousness.![]()
This, I think, is what is going to get Rj's map the win... most users are coming in and believing "A" to be the best representation of how the world sees Brazil, and I tend to agree with them. However the majority of the players live in other countries, it makes sense ot have a "iconic" map of Brazil. So I wouldn't be offended if the first was chosen...
What I'm saying (in all seriousness fashion) is the second one (B) makes more sense to a Brazilian like me who lives in fourth biggest city in the world.
yeah - you live in the 4th biggest city in the world, some of them must have computers!AndyDufresne wrote:Get some friends to come and vote for B then? As it seems like A is pulling away.

Rounding errors, I bet.fireedud wrote:Why is there only 98%

so if you round them all down, it's 98%, and if you round them all up, it's 101%. Rounding does not give you accurate results, just approximate results.fireedud wrote:if ed is right, it shoud be 55%, 41% and 5%, which is 101%...

And the whole point of this is that rounding is never the answer. Carry your decimals all the way out until the end
All fractions are terminating decimals, and thus can be written as decimals with 100% accuracy. It's just a matter of going out far enough.fireedud wrote:No, noZeakCytho wrote:You provided them. yes, but mistakes are more likely to happen with decimalsZeakCytho wrote:All fractions are terminating decimals, and thus can be written as decimals with 100% accuracy.
