Merge teh GD threads about Wicked/Lack/Twill

I believe the Wicked drama is highly overdramatized and am sick of constantly sifting through the threads about it, most notably because I am not on Wicked's side, even if she might "deserve" pity, simply because I think a site owner should be able to direct the course of his business virtually no matter the circumstance, EVEN if it's because a worker is sick (although those are my personal views and apparently contradict the law).

Nonetheless, so much of the same shit is being said in how many threads? It's unnecessary. Merge them all... everyone is saying the same shit.

I nominate for an idiot award, congrats. Besides they're going to do that anyway, to hope it dies down. And then people will make more. The whole merging idea seems quite absurd.

And they can get banned for spam for all I care - it's not productive for the site. They say it's about the community but they are referring to only a select few. A large majority of the CC users who browse the forums don't do it to read about Wicked specifically. The nature of them causes them not to post in the first place. At the moment the threads serve no purpose, except to buy into the bias that Wicked has portrayed by taking advantage of the fact employers should NOT release info about firing to the public as it's unprofessional, yet everyone wants the fucking gossip. Just annoying...

I vote for this -- nothing wrong with the talk, but 20 threads saying the same thing IS a bit much.

amen, just because theres some controversy between wicked and twill, lets not let it ruin our forums. every nut has come out of flame wars feeling that they have free run. they can all pretty much be merged into 2 threads, 1 for civil discussion, and one for flaming.

Speaking as a general mod I can advise that the procedures for merging threads that duplicate subjects will be applied as consistently on this series of threads as on any other.

Speaking as a Suggestions & Bug Reports mod please can I ask that we don't make this thread into another one of those ...

And, speaking as a CC player, I've just started a bunch of public British Isles games if you fancy joining one ... Just search on games awaiting players with me ...

There are quite a bit of people who don't read the forums that won't care. Though it's mainly the big forum goers who would care about it more. Not saying the rest don't matter, but really they don't post much so it doesn't seem like they care much. Maybe it is a tad bit out of hand. (ok it is) But I like chaos.
