Europa [Quenched]

OK, so the poll has been up for a short time (as in a couple of hours), and I've taken a snapshot of opinion:

Poll wrote:Mountains: They are fine as they are. 12
Mountains: Please change them. 1

Title: It is fine how it is. 5
Title: It should be changed. 5

Capital Letters: Yes 4
Capital Letters: No 9

Using these initial results as a guide, I have not made any changes to the mountains or territory names, but have come up with an alternative title, as there isn't anything between the keep it/change it vote. The poll should still reflect map v27 though.

Changes: title/legend.
Still to do: Swap region colours around.

I noticed you changed the Balkans' colour, however you swapped it with a region that is adjacent to the river so this does nothing to solve the problem. You need to change it with a region that is not adjacent to the river.

P.S. Russia is called the Motherland...Germany is the Fatherland.

Edit: I prefer the previous version of the title.

Do the colourblind members have any problems with the light green colour of the hellenics being adjacent to the green colour of the balkan states?

What's the point of having the Pyrenees if they don't serve a gameplay purpose? Won't they just confuse?

Also, I think you need to make it clearer that Croatia borders Montenegro.

what about a one way from algeria to italy, to reflect the mafia who get speedboats and take immagrants across, the police only chance it to ran them, everyone in the other boat. Each year the boats are getting faster and the mafia one step ahead, hence the ramming,

I dislike the new title too, cause the stars are just like the symbol of the European Union. And the map isn't an European Union. Its Europe and IMO it can't have the similar stars (or look-a-like stars).

I agree, why are the gone on the east side? No purpose of gamplay anymore?

But just like I already say: It looks amazing and where is the next Stamp? ;-)

Is this the latest version 27?

Couple of things.
1. it's starting to look really cluttered now in the legends.
you only have height of 500 in this image. Perhaps add 50px or so to the bottom of the map and take the impassables out of the bonus mini map and put them down the bottom. that would give some more space to the legend mini map.
2. not sure i like the stars in the title, although i don't like the name either - Europa - sounds like some greek goddess rather than a continental name. could it be modern "europe 2000"?
3. initially i had a little trouble working out smo and vco....i had to look for them in the key and make 2 + 3 = 4
4. the moutains look like meringue peaks straight of the oven

but i think they are suitable
5. had to look hard to work out what lt was between austraia and switzerland

Update Alert!

I've finally got around to switching all the colours around - I'm fairly happy with the balance; colder colours at the north, warmer colours towards the equator - but what do my colourblind fiends think??
I have also tweaked the legned; given it a bit more room, and put the motherland bonus text in the bonus legend box...

The title has been removed from the map, as I now have a couple of choices to put to the vote...

Yea, I've seen that happen elsewhere - you think that you can edit a poll because you have the options, but really it never quite deletes the old one. Anyway, I've deleted it entirely so you can go ahead and start over Benn.
