That's the one! Fantasy General indeed, 1996 if I'm not mistaken...DaLe_ wrote:Fantasy General (- based on Panzer General). Both great games!
EDIT: Since I am certain that it is FG, I'll be so cheeky and just post the next screenshot. Sorry to interrupt the retro wave, but this is a game I enjoyed playing a lot recently...

I don't know if I even had a computer of my own back then... I think I did, but I'm not sure.DarkMalkin wrote:That's the one! Fantasy General indeed, 1996 if I'm not mistaken...DaLe_ wrote:Fantasy General (- based on Panzer General). Both great games!

No way, MoO2 was almost the same as MoO1, and MoO3 didn't look as good as this game. I really want to know what this is, looks like a decent gameDarkMalkin wrote:Master of Orion 2?

Oh... I was thinking about the last MoO, which I didn't actually play... I forgot there are 3...e_i_pi wrote:No way, MoO2 was almost the same as MoO1, and MoO3 didn't look as good as this game. I really want to know what this is, looks like a decent gameDarkMalkin wrote:Master of Orion 2?
Re: Name the Video Game, from the screenshot.
This is not Master of Orion. The game couldn't actually be really classified as a strategy game. I'll give it until late today, or early tomorrow, before I will post a few more final screenshots.

Re: Name the Video Game, from the screenshot.
It looks a lot like Civilization, and at the same time not, the resource management window is too small with 12 squares missing, and I don't at all remember the resources on the lower edge, but is nevertheless the original Civilization?

I've played this and I'll get it, you mark my words...
(2mins later)
Colonization, by Sid Meier I believe. It was way better than the original Civ. Had very good gameplay, but I found it dated poorly. Really wish they had kept re-releasing this one

There was a win95 patch for Colonization. As far as I know, it works well with the other win versions. Have a look online, maybe they re-released it online or something.e_i_pi wrote: Really wish they had kept re-releasing this one

Oldie, but a goodie. This one's on a lot of "best games ever" lists.

That can't be the whole screen.
