Re: Atheists!?!
Any chance of involving Leprachauns? I just got the idea while reading and posting in chatterbox.

Re: Atheists!?!
"It is hurtful," said Father Migeul Gonzalez with the Diocese. "Imagine if they kidnapped somebody and you make a plea for that individual to please return that loved one to the family."
Gonzalez said the Diocese is willing to meet with Cook and help him understand the importance of the Eucharist in hopes of him returning it. The Diocese is dispatching a nun to UCF's campus to oversee the next mass, protect the Eucharist and in hopes Cook will return it.
"We have to make acts of reparation," Gonzalez said. "The whole community is going to turn to prayer. We'll ask the Lord for pardon, forgiveness, peace, not only for the whole community affected by it, but also for [Cook], we offer prayers for him as well."
For a cracker? No friggin' way. Cracker-Stealers huh?
This is more chatter-box material.
'They might be Leprechauns' or something? (you won't get it, but this is a Christain-humor band referance)-(They Might be Giants)

Re: Atheists!?!
well alot of the reasons i didn't get many members was because we would be a target and these "Christian warriors" would not only try to join and start stuff but alot of friends that play might not know there friend is Pagan and might be aganist it (i know it sucks to be a secret) but i figure if im active in the forums and with my avatar Pagans would know that im Pagan and will come forth to me it may take awhile but its a way to do it without being a target because after awhile it gets old having to debate with different Christians about the same ol bullshit that they think is new that they have to say to me and i can turn around and make that Christian feel stupid and put them in there place which dont get me wrong is funny as hell but after awhile with the same bullshit it gets old so i'd rather try a different way and see how it goes with less attention to myselfJuan_Bottom wrote:What's your new method, Mr. SMOKINGDUDE420???Smokingdude420 wrote:im trying this new way if it doesn't work then i'll make it again
Re: Atheists!?!
Oh, their have been a number studies on that, and they have all had the same results. High IQ and Higher Education are negatively correlated with believe in religion. There is no doubt about it.kagetora wrote:I just found this!

A study published in the journal "Intelligence" suggests that the smarter a person is, the less likely they are to believe in a deity

Perhaps some clever play on transubstantiation, although that is a purely Catholic theory. I am against organized religion, and Catholicism is the zenith of that concept, but I don't want to forget the snake handling bible thumpers or the money grubbing tele-evangelists.

f*ck. I had a feckanist clan, which was a made up religion, poking fun at other religions. Unfortunately it slowly died and the forum was removed

Re: Atheists!?!
Back to the idea of making a poll for your clan name, that is a very bad idea. Anybody would be able to vote on it, rather than just your fellow clansmen. You know those Christians, they're out to make your lives miserable and make you angry!
Actually some Christians probably are, I really dislike those tv evangelists who profess false doctrine & make the whole of Christianity look bad. Or those mega-church Christians, or those crazy Christians who always yell and scream "Jesus!" and start crying, holding up their hands and singing loudly(and poorly). I call those Christian show-boaters(sp). There can be a time of extreme spiritual highs where those actions are heart-felt, but generally Christians who do that do it for their own glory, so everybody can look at them and say "Wow, they're a good Christian" rather than doing things for the glory of God. Wow, sorry for get off-topic. Anyways, poll is a bad idea. Return.

Re: Atheists!?!
I'm still in favor of Godless Heathens. The only thing it lacks is an obscure reference, but I don't think we're likely to find a name that just has that ring to it, easily understandable to all, and has an obscure reference in it. Godless Heathens has the first two I mentioned, which I think are the most important. Obscure references are just icing on the cake. I don't think anybody is going to take to seriously and think we're being too strong with our believes or whatever you want to call it. Look at the Jesus Freaks, I must admit they chose a great name. And I think Godless Heathens has much the same effect as the JF. Our believes are clearly stated, but in a way that is funny, and almost over-stated.
