I wanted to do three different shades of blue, and then leave one wall white.
But is that too much? I need suggestions.
I want a fun look, with a mature edge. Ideas?

Three colors of blue sounds like something you would do in a college dorm. I''d stick with one color blue and an accent color, so you have two (or possibly three) but the walls would look more or less the same.
Some people like pure primary colors, I tend to like blends. A touch of green in the mostly blue can be used to good effect. Complementary shades off of this can be used for accents. Faux techniques can add false texture to the surface of the wall.

f*ck painting.
As much as I hate "pink" as a room color fuschia is much worse. It was (or so my first boss told me) used extensively in the offices of Lillian Vernon, proof positive that when women run companies, office colors go to hell.Gypsys Kiss wrote:My missus wanted to paint the bedroom pink. I said if she painted it pink I wouldn't be sleeping in it. I got home from work the next day and there was a large can of pink paint (it said fuschia on the tin, but it looked pink to me!!) on the table. Its in the shed now and I'm almost afraid to come home from work.
