For the WII. Well i got some stuff for you guys. Not real facts just personal experiance. First off i never heard of the WII being backwards compatible but if it fully is that is great BUT, who wants game cube games that suck and are small and are ment for kids. They have basically no games that are aimed towards the teen group. The gamecube just basically sucked and was the worst system again last time. Nintendo did build a awsome N64. But afer the PS1 came out, the N64 kinda sucked due to it was out dated. The WII is alot cheaper because it uses cheaper material. The graphics aren't as good, and same with the game size.

Resident Evil 4, Eternal Darkness, RE0, Resident Evil (the remake), Killer7, Star Wars Rogue Squadron II&III, Super Smash Bros., Metroid Prime 1&2.
Are you saying there aren't people over the age of 12 who wouldn't enjoy these games?
Plus, Nintendo's got the Virtual Console. Yeah, i know what you're gonna say "No one wants to play old Nintendo games." My response? Go look at various emulation sites and look at their Nintendo and Super Nintendo sections vs. their Genesis or even their newer ROMs.
And yes, the Wii is fully backwards compatible without an adapter, plus it consumes 1/3 of the power that the PS3 or Xbox 360 consume. It's economical, fun, and most importantly it finally renews what Nintendo is known for: Innovation.
Yes, it tanked, but the Virtual Boy was the first console to offer games in true 3D. The NES brought us the first home light gun game (Duck Hunt), the first wireless first-party accessory (The NES Satellite), and the first dance pad (The power pad).
Nintendo rules all, and so will the Wii.
sfhbballnut wrote:As far as using cheap materials, the superstar of that is microsoft, and we all know the graphics aren't half as good on the Wii but I personally don't care if my games look like real life, the point I was making about the backwards compatability was that they put it in special, they could have easily left it off but they stuck a slot for Game Cube games on it. I have a working Super Nintendo and I've met maybe one person who still has a PS1 that works, that tells me one thing, quality so go spend your $600 for real life graphics and a couple of years use, I'll stck with a system that'll last til the next generation

But I'm gonna fuckin' get a Wii! There ain't no doubt about that.
sfhbballnut wrote:that is a lot of extra money, where do you get it all? then again where do all the people who went out and bought the PS3 get it all?

Halo is an FPS, there's nothing special about it. Sure, it's pretty. The graphics are all shiny and shit. But outside of that, there is absolutely nothing that separates it from every other FPS out there.
It's fucking Half-Life in Space.
Return to Out, out, brief candle!
