Verbal Abusers- call out

High Ranks - I have a problem here with being insulted by other players - here is some of the abuse :

Codeblue1018- of Captain rank- game nbr 2745438 - immediately targets me in round 2 and starts insulting me verbally and 'giving' the game to the third player.
after round 1 was over, I was in control of Africa and the other 2 players might have felt I could be a threat at that point, but
this jerk's strategy is to tell me I suck and have no skill- then proceeds to give game to 3rd player. Buddy- this is not a
doubles match here - if that's what you wanted that's what you should have joined...

On a side note, I had joined a standard freestyle 6 player game with majors right down to cook - needless to say, I was about to take the game when the 'major' rank who was at that time already eliminated from the game, starts writing in the chat for the corporal to eliminate me with his cash in (which I don't think he saw that move before it was pointed out to him by said major) his reason he gave me in chat : Hurry and eliminate her before we all lose to a private -- not to mention other verbal abuse I had to listen to -

To all you verbal condescendors out there- we are here for fun - and if you can't stand losing to someone of a lower rank, ( or a female in some of my other experiences) don't join games with us- I am perfectly happy to be the rank that I am - and my goal is to see how high I can get- and for awhile I was a lieutenant before my dice went on some sort of possessed losing streaK. I never insulted lower ranks because we all make the game fun if that's what we are there for. Aren't we trying to eliminate biggotry in our society?

My 1 year membership is coming to an end in September, and due to ignoramuses I have encountered on this site I choose not to renew - and probably won't be back once my gold turns to grey. Thanks to all you jerks on my foe list who have ruined my otherwise fun experiences on conquerclub because of your power trips.

You fail to understand the point when you make stupid moves, more than likely, you are ruining the fun. Maybe it doesn't bother you because you lose so often, but to someone who values strategy, it basically takes any fun away from this site when you expect your opponent to act logically and instead they mindlessly attack whoever is next to them.

This might not apply to you specifically, but it does to a majority of the lieutenants and below. Once again, there are quite the plentiful amount of exceptions.

Well, your attitude is quite probably why you are on MY VERY short ignore list.

You fail to understand that "fun" is not just about winning at all costs. People come here for fun and entertainment ...and that listening to your critique just doesn't qualify. Further, as a Major ... you have a ways to go before I would consider you a CC expert. (and just for reference, I am low right now because I DON'T mind playing "inferior" players and sometimes that does mean I lose points, sometimes due to luck and sometimes because those "inferior" players made some nice moves on a map I don't know well.)

maybe you should just try a different type of game... you know, different game settings, etc... i was extremely disillusioned with CC and almost left, because of the horrible play, abusive chat, and nasty people i encountered in standard games. then guess what? i discovered team games, and have enjoyed CC beyond any measure i ever thought possible... just try some different settings, try some new maps... when you do that, you'll run into different players, trust me.-0

It varies highly what "fun" is. Everyone always think their way is the most enjoyable way, going along with everyone thinking they are right and have a self-serving bias. Nothing new to hear. I don't fail to understand anything, I know the lower ranks often care significantly less about winning and more so about spamming games. Sure, they get more fun out of it, good for them. But others care more about actually thinking about their moves and planning out what they are doing. Thus, it would not be unusual to expect someone to get very pissed off when someone who cares very little about each individual game comes and blows it.

That's the point - low ranks often care little about the individual games, think little about their moves in the individual games, and don't actually look at the board. Just because that's what THEY find is fun doesn't mean it's ruining the game for someone else. For someone to call someone else out on a shit move is perfectly valid. It exposes the low rank to their stupidity and furthermore the low rank can just put the person on foe if they don't want to hear it. But the fact most people come in for about 20 seconds, make a move, then leave... and then expect no one to bitch at them because they don't know what is happening is ridiculous.

Second, if you want to bitch about my rank, because apparently the Major status is what defines me, my highest rank on this site was: Highest Rank 12, Score 3477. I deranked purposely, so to even attempt to use your little "inferior" quip at me is useless. I went all the way down to a sergeant a little over a week ago. I'm back to major and will be working my way back up.

Codeblue has a reputation for such tactics.

He says ots because he plays with his head rather than his heart, and those that react to him are 'emotional' players. To a degree this is true. However, i play for the fun of it, as do a lot of 'heart' players.

Just remember the names of the few dickheads on here and avoid them, its simply.

There is no environment on this planet where you can put as many people together as here and NOT have some head clashes. Its part of life. Deal with it or be down trodden repeatedly.

Kid fortifies all his armies to one territory on turn one, and turn two he comes in and AUTOES ME. All of our armies. Green had taken the game by turn 2. I said I was suiciding - yeah my meager 8 armies left on the field to green's 20+ with bonuses. This is an example of a player bloobeard or w/e, who plays in a lot of games and doesn't even look before acting, he merely autoed what was next to him. Absolutely brilliant.

So yeah, I'm verbally abusive as you could say. Whether or not you think I "care" to much about the game, the simple fact that it doesn't both me to use language and it does bother you is can be concluded with the fact you're more sensitive to such talk than I am - nothing to do with anything else than that.

You can add me to the list. When I get set up on a map with some pretty clever tactics, I get pissed at myself for letting it happen but I typically take it out on my opponent.

Verbal abuse is a distracting tactic to get you off your game and if it gets under your skin it can easily be solved by placing the offender on your foe list. That way you no longer have to observe their rants for the duration of the game. If they really piss you off??? leave them on the list and you won't be bothered by them again.

I think it's because I am almost 8 months pregnant that I have run out of tolerance for the verbal abuse- I have run out of patience with
shitty dice, and just out of patience in general.

I thought it would feel better to rant - but it doesn't. The verbal abusers will always be there and I guess I should come back after I have my baby when my
hormone levels return to normal - because it really does hurt to have to listen to it (right now).

Owenshooter- you obviously didn't read the very first post here otherwise you would know that your comments have nothing to do with the point I was trying to make. I was suggesting that I am overly sensitive to the jerks criticism because I am pregnant , saying that once I am no longer pregnant I won't feel the need to rant when someone calls me an idiot or stupid and that it's easier to look past those comments than it is right now because EVERYTHING seems to be bothering me right now - ESPECIALLY YOU!
