DI adds to Season 2's pot for a total of $4,500 while Season 1 has $3,000. 5 of the 8 games are finished and if the 2 MIA players don't join by Fri night, they are out and their opponents get the prize money added to their Season's pot.

The 2 players to receive the exemptions for winning their games first are:

They're there to compete to earn the money for the Season pot. So there will be a winner from each season.
