Anyone got a more impressive shot of the plugin working? maybe 10 games? or more?

Save the xpi file instead of installing it right away. Update the "install.rdf" file inside to say "<em:maxVersion>3.0b5</em:maxVersion>" instead of "<em:maxVersion>3.0b3</em:maxVersion>." In firefox go File->Open File... and open the new xpi file that way. xpi files are just zip files with a different extension so it's pretty easy.haoala wrote:doesn't work with beta 5zimmah wrote:doesn't work with firefox 3.0b4

Re: ConquerTell Notifier (Firefox Extension)
neither. CCTell is an extension for FF. so when clicking on the link to install the extension use your right click, save as, and save the .xpi to your desktop. your can then open it with winrar or 7zip (cuz its really just a .zip file) and modify install.rdf according to the above instructions. save your changes and then click the .xpi to have firefox install the extension normally. Is this when installing Grease Monkey itself or Firefox?

Re: ConquerTell Notifier (Firefox Extension)
Thanks for the GREAT script! Some feedback:
An option to not show "eliminated" games would be nice. No big deal, though.
I play freestyle games exclusively (so far, anyway). Sometimes, it's sound strategy to be the last player to make their move. It would be really helpful if the icon could change color when I was the only player who hadn't yet moved. This keep the game moving, and not delay things unnecessarily.
Similarly, sometimes you want to be the first player to go. It would be nice if the icon could change to another color when a new round is about to start, either because the time limit is about to expire (say, 10 minutes or so) or the last player yet to play in the previous round has started their turn.
Thanks again.

Re: ConquerTell Notifier (Firefox Extension)
Please update to work with FF 3.0rc2.... For the impatient people this can be done by following the previously mentioned hack for 3.0b5. I set my max version to 3.0 and it worked. Not sure if that's the right version to use or not though. I rarely follow my own advise so do this at your own peril.
Re: ConquerTell Notifier (Firefox Extension)
Firefox 3 was just released today. About how long is it going to be until this is compatible with Firefox 3?
Re: ConquerTell Notifier (Firefox Extension)
I thought it was done - but it turns out its only FF3 beta compatible - i will get a new version up and into the approval system as quick as possible!cramill wrote:Firefox 3 was just released today. About how long is it going to be until this is compatible with Firefox 3?

Its strange not having this on FF3. I keep looking in the corner for green dots telling me to play, but I actually have to go to the my games page to see if anything is waiting

Oh Master, Please give us a Notifier, which works with Firefox 3.0.
Cause I am on the verge of uninstalling it just because the notifier ain't working
