adding platinum and diamond status


currently bronze is 20 wins, silver 100, gold 400

my suggestion would be this:

bronze 20

silver 100

gold 300

platinum 500

diamond 1000


other medals


chained: 20 games bronze, etc.
fog of warL 20 games bronze, etc.
unlimited: 20 games bronze, etc
victory achievement for consecutive wins in a row: 5 bronze, 10 silver, 20 gold, 30 platinum, 50 diamond
sequential: 20 games bronze, etc
freestyle: 20 games bronze, etc
adjacent 20 games bronz,e etc.
score 1000 bronze, 2000 silver, 3000 gold, 4000 platinum, 5000 diamond-even if they lower now, if they ever got there, it would count
flat rate: 20 games bronze, etc
map makers
escalating: 20 games, bronze, etc.
programmers
all maps played : 10 maps bronze, 25 maps silver, 50 maps gold, 75 maps platinum, 100 maps diamond
individual map: 10 wins on a map bronze, 25 wins on a map silver, 50 wins-gold, 75 platinum, 100 diamond
conqueror: if you ever hit this before regardless if you have it now, would be a special medal recognition
hall of fame: if a committee comes together and votes in players with lacks approval, this also would be special medal

ja, sounds fine to me. It's just expanding the system to fit in the older players [same as they did with the ranks when they doubled 'em]

PLUS

whichever player currently has the highest score in each medal category gets to hold a special hero medal, which works in the same way as the conqueror rank at the top of the scoreboard.

Could obviously be jointly held (in the case of all maps completed)

Well, of course you would JR. That's because you are one of the Aristos of the site, if something of a black sheep of the family of course (to be found playing in the notorious dens no doubt rather than tending the estate). I would fully expect you to have a Diamente studded extra large medal, along with Blackadder style posing pouch to boot!

Would this idea not have a detrimental effect on the snotty nosed peasants of the site tho'? They, who can only shine and buff up 1 or 2 medals and bronze at that, while you, Blitzy and the other toffs saunter by in your Justaucorps, your gleaming gold and diamond medals blinding them with the shine (not that it would matter, most are suffering premature sight loss through poor diet anyway).

I, for one, think there should also be a wooden medal, carved from the best balsa wood, for the lowest player, the worst % win rate and the worst deadbeat rate. This could be something those poor deluded souls and riff raff, who are destined to live their cc lives in the shadows, something to try to achieve.

I may for some, but many on here have played more games then me, i wasnt even in the top 5, i doubt i am even in the top 100 for most games played, some many others would qualify for more games played then me mr fruitcake

I understand that. Of course, that is why anyone posting any suggestion would want to post them here. Do you think that most of them think, "Well, this is a nice enough suggestion but not so important that I should post it in the GD, so I'll just do the right thing and post it in suggestions." Is this such a suggestion? One that we all must see? More so than suggestions that would actually improve gameplay? Or is it just because it's your suggestion.

well, no one was putting a lot of feedback on it and seems like many liked the idea, and I never made 2 threads about it, this is the only one, but did comment on anothers thread about it
