Re: Fog of War
This is a discussion on fog. Joe/Scott don't take liberties to flame.Remember that you guys have been warned before by the mods. In particular, Scott-Land was investigated. It is clear to me you just do not know where to stop. I have no choice but to refer you to the mods for further action. I hope that they can see warning you is just too lenient as you are disrespectful of them.

Re: Fog of War
"I'd have to agree with you on that greenoaks. If an enemy takes over one of my controlled territories, I do think the game log should at least show it instead of "Player X attacked ? from ? and conquered it from player X" After all..didn't I just own that territory?"
I definitely think this is an improvement to fog of war.
Other than that, I like Fog of War. I can't say it's "realistic", but it definitely adds more strategy, because then you're trying to figure out what people are doing based on the actions you see. And conquering territory just to see stuff actually becomes a part of strategy.

Re: Fog of War
i agree. FoW on the Waterloo map really brings those artillary into play.waseemalim wrote:I like playing with fog. And I think the ideal map for fog is waterloo. It not only makes the map more realistic but allows for subtle tactical play.

Re: Fog of War
FoW doesn't add realism cos' wouldn't the army have maps and spies, so they should know whats going on.
