Unique opponents was a better approach than "victories"...as people could run up their "victories" through 1vs1. Unique opponents makes it more difficult to do so.

and victories I guess. But gold for victories should be 2000, maybe 2500

Since we have these shiny new medals, it would be nice to have someplace on the profile page that lets us see our accumulated tallies (unique opponents defeated, etc.), if for no other reason than to determine how far one has to go to pick up another medal.

Ex-military here. There should be an Expeditionary medal for those that have played EACH map! That seems like such a task to complete, that a medal would be deserving. Also, maybe a Purple Heart if you got killed off in a Doubles, Triples, or Quads game and your team still won! Just some ideas!?!

Did you mean who have won on each map? Because that would be worth a lot more IMO.

To win each would be more like a Medal of Honor!

Just played each. As for taking away when new maps come out: the military doesn't ever take them away each time a new area is explored, why make it different? That could be the diffence between Bronze, Silver, Gold??? You'd have to wait for new maps to go up a level.

Oak leaf clusters are used in military to designate a repeat honor.

Thus, clusters would be fun, for those who have repeated some of the things.. which would be in line with the "how far do I have to go to the next medal?"

i.e. bronze is for 20 wins. a cluster at 40 unique opponent wins. another cluster at sixty, a final cluster at eighty.
At 100 there's silver. A silver cluster at 200.
