Congrats to Bernard Hopkins (got tonkaed) for knocking off the last unbeaten fighter this week. Hopkins took out Rubin Carter with a KO in the 9th round on Carter's World War II Western Front map. That opens it up a bit in the USA rankings, giving Hopkins some hope of taking the belt before the 12 weeks is over and the brackets are announced.

Also...cho a$$ up has been replaced (too many missed turns) after failing to make it to the arena for his bout this week vs. Sugar Ray Leonard. He will be replaced by Gold Knight starting in Week 9.

It appears that the final Week 9 bout is about to wrap-up and we can finish out the final two weeks of the regular season. Sorry again for the unforseen delay. Ughh.

Sorry once again for the long delay...hopefully the rest of this tourney can wrap up quickly. We had a trans-atlantic battle going on where the players were only able to play about 1 round per day...plus, that fight went the distance so it lasted a long time. I needed a result in order to correctly form the purses for the following weeks.

Anyway, standings up now updated through Week 10...looks like a battle between Rubin Carter and Bernard Hopkins for the top USA spot, while Russell Crowe and Nigel Benn battle this week in a bout that will likely decide the European champ.

Of course, everyone will make the playoff bracket. Remember the division winners get to sit and wait for a cotender to emerge, while the other 8 boxers in each division battle through to get a shot at the belt. At the end each division champion will fight for the World title.

Russell Crowe beat Nigel Benn by KO on the Canada map to clinch the International belt with one week left in the regular season. Crowe will sit back and watch through the playoffs while awaiting a contender. Congrats to RallyRaider

Still plenty of room for moving around in the playoff seeding...you are locked into your spot in the bracket if you have a (•) by your name. Remember the top boxer in each division advances to their divisional title bout, while the other 8 in each division go through the bracket for a shot at the title and perhaps the World Championship.
