Can one alter....

Do you believe a man can change his destiny? Even if under the control of many, can he change what he is supposed to be and become something Great?
you are entitled to your opinion...

Ok tell the truth...

All of these topics you come up with are actually social studies questions your teacher is giving you and you are trying to get us to do your homework for you right?

Oh ya and the answer is no... sorry... keep trying though

will go through life, college, marraige, parenthood, grandparenthood, retirement, death, just like everyone does? OR WILL I MAKE A NAME FOR MYSELF? Become someone? I wonder if it is a fleeting dream? Or a hidden path?

Sorry, I don't believe in preordained destinies. You become what you set your mind to be.

ya i believe what doc said...you don't have a pre destiny...only what you choose to do. If you set your mind to it...the mind is very powerfull, and you should be able accomplish it if its realistic...like saying i want to be king of the world...thats not realistic, but saying you want to become the next microsoft...well its alot of hard ass work, but possible to do

A very interesting question.

who decides what you are supposed to be??? Do you have a preconcieved notion that you can amount to nothing??? do you beleive society has put you in a category??do you think your god made you a peon??

I do not beleive you can do anything differently than fate has laid out for you. but I also do not beleive you can have any idea what fate has laid out for you. you might be destined to die of an overdose at 18yrs. you might be destined to be dictator of the inter solar system empire that is formed in 2025. Neither you nor I have any idea what it is you are SUPPOSED to do with your life. just do your best and let that take you where it will.

live your life according to the nine noble virtues and you will never have any regrets. you will have lived life to the fullest and been a good man.
Ever get the feeling you have 200 men with tanks and rockets, and they are getting their asses kicked by a neanderthal with a stick???

It is called auto attack!

I think we can decide whether or not we want to be some one or not, I just think most don't want to in the end.
