I'm curious to know if I own Hunters and Tourny Directors because over my name it says 'the Auction ends w/ sd031091 bidding $100 for each' but no one else has anything regarding the auction above their name. I know that publicly someone bid higher but I'm not sure if that counts. I also know that if I did get the properties they were not deducted from my total income (which then should be $1094 instead of $1294). Just curious...
PS. No matter what I don't have any action but to accept chalmbers rent game challenge if he ever logs on again.

Oh my, not a lucky round for this board.

1. Yes, you own both properties. Your ownership is marked on the board - in the "inner" square area.
2. I've rephrased the winning sentence (for future) so that its clear that this particular person won the auction and paid so and so.
3. Public bids don't count.

Because some players prefer to have it private and as we didn't find anything about it in the manual then we decided to respect it.

The reason he won and not those who bid more is that there were two higher, but equal bids. We didnt want to pick the first (faster) bid because we usually do rounds at GMT-afternoon time so some prople might be more lucky to bid faster than others so when situation like that happens both bids are ignored and next highest bid considered. Also a suggestion, avoid bidding "round" (100 150 200 etc) numbers since they seem to be the most often appearing and you have a higher chance to double a bid that way.

Well, you are welcome to make a suggestion how to make it "cool". If you come up with a fair solution we might use it and until then, everyone should remember to come up with more random bids like 213, 218, 224, 206 instead of 200

well, I don't have any action again (as I've landed on my own property). I'd also like to mention that no one was on Hunters last turn (I double checked and 2 of those people were on Pink Battleship and one was on Blue Battleship). It doesn't affect the game at all, I was just surprised when it said I let three people stay on Hunters for free .

I landed on a property reserved for player X. What does it mean?
Answer: It means that player X has the option to buy this property and then s/he can request a RG with you. If s/he chooses not to buy it, it will be sold through an auction. Whoever wins the auction receives the right to ask for a RG with you and anyone else who landed on the property when it was reserved. In a normal game players can buy properties immediately after landing on them, here on CC we cannot wait for that and that's why bank reserves a property for someone who landed on it first.

You need to remember that some aspects of this game are played not in proper order just to allow them to happen. In normal game auction happens right away but we cant have that , we cant pause and wait 48h for bids to come in, its too much wasted time, so the game goes on while auction procedures starts. During that time people may land on aucioned land; in normal game they would pay right away, here we need to wait and we keep these things for later. Once the procedures are over we put the result (ie someone winning an auction) back to its proper place and thats why you receive the right to request RGs with all those players who landed on that property "during" auction and before when it was reserved for first players.

I know it may seem complicated. You just need to follow your board actions and remember that when you acquire a property you might be able to request some RGs so check the history of that property to see if anyone landed on it when its ownership wasn't decided yet.
