Hey Banana - Somewhere along the way here after round 1 you changed the tie breaker rule. Would have been nice if you mentioned the rules were changing...

Yes, you are correct i did "change" the rules part way through and i probably should have mentioned it. Here were the original rules:

1) who has survived in the most games
2) who has had the most territories (as an individual) when the players were partners.
This can lead to it being to your advantage to attack your partner if you are garenteed the win.
3) who has the most territories total

(as copied from Forza's quote on the first page)

I have since removed the second rule... As i realised it was useless as there would always be a 3 way tie, so in no game would all 3 players be partners. So in essence there has not been a change to the rules

So far all games have had both players from the team surviving to the end (so rule 1 hasn't been used) and so far no one has ended up with the same number of territories total.

I will however now add in a 3rd rule just in case any players end up on the same number of territories. And that will be total armies left at the end.

Hope this clears things up,

Banana

He missed one turn. I figured he prob realized he was close to being taken out anyway, and didn't want to give us an auto-cash on the cards... however we had the upper hand for sure at that point, although you could have possibly come back had not blue drawn a 3-card set - pretty tough for you to come back since you had 1 card at that point. Granted - you had the game about 5 turns before he deadbeated, but his deadbeat had not much to do with the loss... more crappy dice, which both sides had their fair share of...

I checked bannana's other games, and looks like he's been missing turns in all of them / kicked out for missing turns in a few. Obviously since I'm up with 1 game to go I'd like to see this finish. I suppose someone could take over, but it would be poor form since he is also a finalist in the last match. WTF!

I felt we had it but congrats gdeangel to the victory. As the last game went I wouldnt have a chance in winning total I guess anyway.
