i agree, the letters don't really do anything. They're too small to read in the small version, and it seems like an over-reaction to a problem that begins and ends with the color choice.

And I agree that Mibi's colors weren't really in keeping with the color scheme of the map, but they were definitely more readable. There's a solution out there somewhere. Keep in mind that a new color you may not like at first might grow on you - you've been looking at the current color palette so long you've grown used to it, and everything else looks wrong.

I found these things that are not correct in the XML:

-Panhandle bonus: 6 in XML, 5 on map
-West Texas bonus: 5 in XML, 3 on map
-Llano borders: Rocksprings is missing in XML
-Hill Country bonus: 8 in XML, 6 on map
-South Texas bonus: 6 in XML, 4 on map
-Wichita Falls borders: Abilen in stead of Abilene in XML
-Central Texas bonus: 6 in XML, 5 on map; Dallas in XML in stead of Dallas-Fort Worth
-Houston borders: Beaumont is missing in XML
-Cannon 3 borders: Leakey is missing in XML (I assume the bridge is a 2 way border?)

No. The problem area's colours were not changed. It still looks the same to me.

it's hard to tell without the rest of the graphics, but I don't think the new version is any better... just lighter overall, which is actually worse for me.

If you go back the version I've re-posted below (from just a few days ago) what if you just rotated where some of the existing colors are so the offending colors aren't next to each other?? Use the yellow from the Gulf in Central, use the Central color in South, and use the South color in the Gulf? That Central color is the biggest problem as it resembles the three colors around it, so put it someplace else where it won't have that effect.

I do want to thank you on letting me know how I can help you guys. In the next maps I will try to make sure to look for colors that will suit everyone.

I do have some graphic design issues I need to work on, but should have it ready by the end of the week.
