maybe I'm just confused, but:
In the Rules of Engagement, the last entry.
It says "the river is uncrossable along borders except at the Karkh-Greenzone Bridge"
Shouldn't it be the "Rusafa-Greenzone Bridge"? because those are the two places connected by the bridge......

You're looking at the wrong images...

The ones with army numbers are a touch out of date - the last 2 images are the current map image... Although we have no small map for the latest. (Mibi?)

I see you have Jaysh al Mahdi (JAM) in there...have you considered somehow incorporating Peshmerga, JAM Special Groups, IRGC Quds Force? I love the idea of this map, it's very interesting. Don't worry about people who say this is an inappropriate map. I'm getting deployed to Iraq and I have no problem with it.
Although I think the map at this point might be a bit too complex. It looks like it will have a very large learning curve which means less people will play it. For bonuses, I think you should focus more on Iraqi Kurdistan, the Shia south, Sunni central, and various hotspots that are their own bonuses (Kirkuk, Baghdad, Mosul, etc.)

the map is very complex, but it supposed to be, as the region is complex. There are many bonus opportunities and i think the map reflects a good snapshot of an ever changing landscape. I cant reaaly keep adding and changing participants as the situation changes. hopefully this map will be in play before the war ends, but you never know around here.

also Baghdad is a province its self at 283 sq miles.

I understand that you can't always change the game based on an everchanging landscape...but I do have one question: what time period are you hoping to convey? 2003? 2007?
Personally, I think you should just ditch the Baathists since there not really in play anymore (almost all of them that are left are now in Syria). In place of the Baathists just put Sunnis or if you want to be more specific Tawafuq or Sons of Iraq...I say you use Sunni since most people understand what a Sunni is.

Small nitpick: the shadow near the Baghdad bonuses (Mahdi area, Baathist region) almost completely obscures the color of the Baathist region. I'm still able to infer based on the text color, but the circle itself is too dark.

Mibi - I think you need to provide links to the latest images... especially the latest small map - as I've not seen that anywhere since your last changes!?

It's more of a general time period but I suppose focused on the earlier 2003-4 era due to the presence of Baathist. I wanted the Baathist in there to act as a weak and less powerful loyalty. They also have a low resistance which fits well with the reality of the situation.

mibi, you should start a new poll:

Will this map get quenched before the US military leaves Iraq?
Yes
No

Will this map get quenched before US troops invade Iran, necessitating a sequel to this map?
Yes
No

I checked it yesterday. There was only 1 small mistake. In the legend it says that you get +3 for each 2 al-Qaeda cities, and in the XML there is +3 for each 3 al-qaeda cities.

So if the mistake is in the legend, then the XML is OK already. If the legend is OK, then the XML needs that 1 change.

I checked the fix. Didn't check the rest again, as I assume you didn't make any other changes then the al-Qaeda fix.

So the XML should be correct now.

Agreed - no other changes - just those continents.

Cheers.
