Suggestion -- New BBCode constructed

Details -- a new BBCode that will automatically link to a game and give map details

IIRC, there is a way to add custom BBCodes to PHPBB, I am suggesting that a new BBCode

be added to the bbcode list, this would provide users with an easy way of adding a game.

I suggest that the code do something like this in a VB code since I have never worked with PHP before but this is the gist of the code

Case Game(GameNumber)
     Dim X As Double
     X = GameNumber
     ["url=http://www.conquerclub.com/game.php?game=" & X]{Game Map}-{Turn Number}-{Number Of Players} etc[/url]

That is a rough draft of what I would think the code would look like, This should be a fairly easy implementation maybe 3 hours of coding and Trouble shooting. Just a thought it would prolly make the boards look nicer...

/me turns on the flame repellent of people saying "why don't you just copy the link..." I know I know... I'm suggesting something to make people's lives easier... please flame ME for it...

there are no plans to do this in the current forums as it will be included when we upgrade to phpBB3.0. In the interim I don't think any new codes will be added here.

cool cool rebel, thought it would be a good addition but if it's in the works via V3 then that's fine what are the plans for a rollout schedule for PHP3
