We're glad to say that after a successful Season 4 (which is about to end) we've decided to continue with the next season to give people a chance to play in a quite huge 1v1 League where they can test their skill of this type of game with various settings and on different maps. How diversified it will be, is up to all of you because each participant must choose their home settings (Map, Cards, Fortifications, FoW). You can read more about setup below (how to sign up and how winner of this tournament is decided), please do it so there wouldn't be any misunderstandings later on. For this season, we've decided to make a couple of changes to freshen up the League and make it more interesting. Season 5 is a continuation of Season 4 (Season 4 players have a reserved spot) We are also accepting new players Divisions will be made according to rank (from scratch). Season 4's drops and advances will be applied after new divisions are made. All games are 1v1 Sequential, Casual and Standard Tournament consists of 2 parts: Qualifying and PlayoffsQualifying
Divisions of 10 people will be formed Number of division is undecided (between 10-15) 13 Divisions in Season 5 Everybody has to play 9 games on their home field and 9 away (once with every person in their Division) Every 2 weeks (3 times in total) 6 games will be made for everybody (3 home and 3 away) Players will be notified about new games by PM Winner of each division advances to the playoffsPlayoffs Games are played like in qualifications (only number of games will be bigger) Winner of playoffs is declared winner of the tournament Winner of division/playoffs is the one with most wins In need of tiebreakers, we'll be using best out of 3 series Extra way to win the tournament: if during qualifications one player wins 17 (or more) games and there is nobody else (overall) who has 15 or more wins then the person with 17+ wins is declared the winner of the tournamentForming of divisions
This will be made a week before tournament starts according to the points that people have during that time. After divisions are made, final reminders will be sent to people and they get the chance to change their home settings (changing settings during the season is not allowed). Divisions are made according to points (this seasons points were collected in Saturday 24th). Then, we applied Season 4's results (few people advanced, few people dropped) and this is the result. The rank shown next to division name shows the average rank in that group.
Waiting List (closed since May 20)
To clarify, the waiting list is NOT a reserve list. It acts like a buffer space. We've reserved 130 places for this Season, but not everyone who has a reserved place will re-join. Soon, those reserved spaces will be removed and people from the waiting list will be added to the main (confirmed) list. Later, if we have enough people for a reserve group (~10) and a new division (10) then that division will be created and players put to it, so don't stop signing up just because your name will first go to the waiting list!
Division 3000
In this Season, we'll (try to) be implementing a new division to give those at the top of the Scoreboard a chance to compete in a tournament. This division will be a bit different as it will only accept players who have 3000+ points. Everything else will work for them as in "normal" tournament. If it will work out or not, depends on how many people are interested joining. Winner of this division doesn't have to play in the overall playoffs if he/she doesn't wish to but then he/she doesn't have a chance to win the whole tournament and he/she will just be named as Division 3000 winner (it's the same as for every other division in this tournament).
