not allof the protocaol is bad but there are some oarts that make it useless. for instance a country with emissions lower the the limit can sell its excess polution to another country. that doesnt solve the polution problem that just makes an industry out of excess polution salesqeee1 wrote:explainfor the first reply you obvously dont no anything aobut the kyoto agreement or else you would only hate the countries that signed not the US.

you shouldnt be able to buy enough extra polution so that you can go on the way you are the limits are there to do just that. limit the amount of polution that comes out of that particular country not to make another country economically soundqeee1 wrote:The selling thing makes environmentally friendly country more economically sound countries. That's not necessarily a bad thing.
The fact that the US hasn't signed up to it, is hardly an argument against it, just an indictment of the US.
how is isreal none of our business? we are the most powerful ally they have. the only war we have started since we have existed is the america revolution and the Iraq war. Even if we dont find WMD's isnt it better to not have saddam in power anymore?saying no to that question is like saying if hitler hadnt invaded so many countries he wouldnt have been such a bad guy. we are the rishest country because of American work. 200 years ago we were nothing now we are a superpower and widly rich compared to other nations. that is because of work americans put in not anyone else. what are youeven talking about with pakistan?Cheesemore wrote:People hate America because A) We are the richest country in the world (greed) B) We are the most powerful country in the world C) We start wars on countries D) We get into stuff that is none of our business (Isreal and Pakistan)
There are others, but those are the most obvious
we are over the limit because we didnt sign because of the weaknesses in the protocolOkay, so how is that bad for the US, who has more than 5 times the allowable limit anyways?

While I'm usually a proud American and will gravitate towards these sort of threads to attempt a civil defense against blind hatred... I have to point something out.terrafirma wrote:how is isreal none of our business? we are the most powerful ally they have. the only war we have started since we have existed is the america revolution and the Iraq war. Terrorism has always been hard to define. One mans terrorist is another mans freedom-fighter. It's funny, how when Britain was experiencing 50 years of IRA bombs the US government did nothing to stop the funding coming out of the USA.P Gizzle wrote:well dont tell me you dont believe in Terrorists. because even if it is a lame excuse to attack Iraq, there are terrorists out there and they don't like Christians, or Americans to be exact.
as for the Axis of Evil thing, look at N. Korea now. they are quite evil and want to kill us, so does Iran.
