Re: Football (real)
i was down at the manchester united versus....umm....london game today.
It was rather good, manchester beat the other team by scoring 2 goals and only conceding one! The prawn sandwiches at the game were marvelous! and we also had a good sing song when manchester scored!
Manchester have scored! RA RA RA!

My daddy owns a box there. It was a fantastic game. One of our players, I think his name is "Chris Ronny", kicked the ball a few times, and was rather good. Sometimes he kicked the ball to other manchester players, and they kicked the ball back to him. I have been a manchester supporter since I was 15.

Re: Football (real)
So, um, a seventh draw in a row for Wednesday tonight
I was at the match, anyone watched it on Sky Sports? What did you think of our can't-finish-for-toffee team?
Re: Football (real)
yeah but that was after partick thistle's and if they had scored theres it would have been a different game.DAZMCFC wrote:Rangers had a penalty saved too, twatty bollocks.pmchugh wrote:he plays on the left

have you ever seen an idealist with grey hairs on his head?
or successful men who keep in touch with unsuccessful friends?
you only think you did
i could have sworn i saw it too
but as it turns out it was just a clever ad for cigarettes.

I think we can win the league now, as long as we win our remaining games i fancy yous to slip up.
It was a game that had everything, and the perfect end to it, what a night!
Re: Football (real)
oh the shame of it. "Sellick" 2 Rangers 1.
bastards 3 minutes into injury time. oh well 1 point clear with 2 games in hand.

Re: Football (real)
Revs had a decent effort at New York tonight, coming back to draw 1-1 after having a player sent off. Jozey Altidore's goal for NY was nasty though. I can't get a feeling for how the Revs are going to be this year. They've looked alternately good and bad so far. Either way, they'll probably end up losing in MLS Cup.
Out of curiousity, what is the English/European opinion of MLS? Is it seen as a decent league or not? I was wondering what level of European football it was compatible with, but I only get to see UEFA Champions League and Premier League matches here, and I know its not at that level.

Re: Football (real)
its seen as the truth- a league that is rubbish compared to the main euro leagues(england, spain, italy, france, germany, portugal, holland, russia)
if any mls team was in the EPL they would be around 15-20th
