Recent changes to Classic map
I don't know about anyone else, but I am having a hard time distinguishing colors with the new light-colored background for army values. Especially, I am having a hard time distinguishing yellow from white, green from gray, and magenta from red.

Yes hate the new classic map. Terrible for laptop screens... almost impossible to play game with full awareness of what is where... please give option for old view. This is much like the new Coke... why change a Classic... it only makes it worse.
Re: Recent changes to Classic map
Yes, they tried the exact thing before and no one seemed to like it then. No one seems to like it now either.
Re: Recent changes to Classic map
Specifically the "Lighter army shadows to allow for easier readability of army coordinates" are what bothers me. The rest I don't really notice but I thought it was fine before.
Re: Recent changes to Classic map
the new version hurts my eyes, i hope they don't revamp the other maps to be like this one.

And anyone who really likes music will tell you vinyl is better anyway ...
Re: Recent changes to Classic map
I thoroughly disagree with you all. If it's too dang bright, your screen gamma is way too high. The previous Classic was very dark on my screen compared to a lot of other maps. Now it's readable straight-up without my encyclopedic knowledge of what connects to what.
