dude, everyone except for Bogus, is saying "let's just lynch someone" and "no, we have nothing to go on". I know I'm not mafia, so you accusing me makes me think you're guilty.... that's all I have to go on at this point.

I don't think Andy can access internet during the day, so we may have to wait for the count, or do it ourselves.

Yeah I usually dont see Andy until around 3 EST

Well I ran a quick count and correct me if I'm wrong the vote count is

Marv - 4(wicked,MB,Rev,Ice)
Ice - Marv
MB - Sully

And I would guess we are like sometime into day two but that could be totally off

RK, you've been silent since all the joking about lynching you. What's your take on all this?

MB, you were joking about RK, right? I think you confirmed this already, but I don't remember.

Where is Phobia? Has she posted?

Sully would go for a no lynch, he just jumped on voting for someone.

I also meant to say, I would like a no lynch because we may get info following the next night phase. But if we are going with the band wagon, I'll hop on.

Jaydog cautiously opens his eyes, and sighs when he sees the sun break through the draped windows.

This has meaning for sure.

Phobia and Bogusbet both stroll out into the early bustle of the streets.

No comment, it was the drink that done it.

Also I will try and get all my comments into one post instead of quad posting from now.

i made the same mistake and was corrected
i have to say bogus' logic is good the first round normally ends in two dead townies
so i think we should not lynch anyone till more evidence comes along

It was mentioned last game, several times in fact, that no lynches are bad for the town. Being my 2nd game, I still don't understand that, but would like to here the reasoning behind it.

I think you guys keep reading that wrong. My interpretation is that the scenes Andy posts when day breaks are fun and comical. Such as...

Bogusbet wrote:Jaydog cautiously opens his eyes, and sighs when he sees the sun break through the draped windows.

And no, I don't think it means anything at all Bogus. I really don't think Andy is trying to give us hints with the story he posts. That is not the point of this game- its just to make the story interesting. The point of this game is for us to gather info from what we say to each other.

Therefore the "day scenes" are not the discussions that take place as we are doing now. These ARE meant to be taken seriously because its our main source of gathering information.

You can say that you are joking when you accuse someone, but if thats the case I think you are playing the game wrong. These discussions are all we have to go on, so if you don't post what you actually mean then you are likely to be convicted for something you don't actually believe.

On that note, I'm not jumping on the Marv bandwagon. It gathered support after Master Bush already had 2 votes. That makes me more inclined to believe that the Master Bush suspicion is correct.

In reality they are probably wrong, but I'm sticking with MB for now.

Well the town can't win if they never lynch anyone. However I don't think that a 'no lynch' is ALWAYS bad even though I was one of the people who talked about it in the last game. I think that at this point we are more likely to get our cop/doctor killed than the mafia members.

That's why I think it makes some sense to 'no lynch' in the beginning day or two until we have more info to go on. That way once we begin lynching we actually have something to base our thoughts on, and only half the townies are dead.

Keep in mind how we gathered our original info last time- It was from AK's death (who was killed by the mafia) and not FP's (who we killed). Once AK was killed it showed that one of the people he suspected was probably a culprit. We guessed Pilate but it turned out to be Moz.

Either way, the night kills provided us with way more info early on than our incorrect lynches.

I definitely agree that the main power of the town is to lynch, but I don't think we need to excercise that power in the beginning simply to double our death rate and increase our desperation.

sorry for not talking everyone, i was asleep when andy annouced day 1 and ive been at school (i live in uk too)

well so far all i know is who the culprit is for spreading rumours that im a girl (wicked) ;) im a guy!!!

youve said so much within 20 or so hours, ive had to scan read, so sorry if i have missed anything :P

well i think no lynch is a definate no-no, becuase we would have wasted one death there and we would learn nothing (except the cop might know something new, but we dont know who it is and i dont think he/she would want to reveal her/himself this early)

has andy annouced a time limit? but for now, im not voting for anyone

For all those who care, im Road Runner (beep beep!) ;)

Mach if you disagree with what I've posted can you please explain why? I think you've played this game more than me (I've only ever played in person which is a bit different since you have to just remember what people say and do- you can't look it up), so perhaps you understand it better. It seems like we agree a lot with our perspective on things, but the more I think about it the better a 'no lynch' sounds for Day 1 at least.

I would like to hear Mach's perspective on a no lynch. I can see both sides of the case. We could get lucky and get a mafia member but it would suck to lose a townie.

What is the time limit for a desision? I know he said the nights were three days but what about the days, are they still five.

Either way I think we still have a little time for someone to slip up.

Oh yeah good to hear from you Phobia, Boggy didn't treat you too rough last night did he?

I think where a no lynch may help us is it would give the cop another night to investigate someone. it'd be nice to know what these investigation results are, but I understand the cop may be scared to share this.

I think a no lynch could hurt us b/c we learn from the deaths. Not that we want to sacrifice ANY townie, but how many mafia do we think there are this time? There were 3 last game, but more people this game, so 4, maybe 5? Still a small percentage compared to the number of townies, ya know? As long as we always have at least one more townie than mafia, we'd be OK, right??

That is true wicked and I guess if even if a townie got taken out it would lower the pool of people that the cop has to choose from to investigate.

Well anyways we have time so I'm out for the day.
