Alright, here is a big update for the day.

We have reached the 10 game plateau, and given that all of Batch 7 is still active because they are No Cards games, we won't be waiting on them to keep moving.

With that in mind, I will be gathering a bunch of information over the course of this week, putting it all together in a nice way for myself to keep track of, and on Saturday or Sunday we will begin the weekly new games.

Now, using this new format, we are sure to have a stockpile of games after a little while. So, here is what we are going to do about that.

Beginning with Batch 10, all games will have 50 rounds to reach completion. I think that is adequate, even in the few No Cards games we will have. At the point they reach 50 rounds, all currently eliminated players will receive their points as normal, and the remainder will each receive 3 points. While some may say this encourages players to just wait it out, I think the general feeling is they would rather have the 7 for actually winning, and I don't think we'll see too many instances of this.

Also, we will start new games until we have got all the Batches active that are required to determine the Era Champion. At that point, we will all have to be patient and wait for games to all finish in order to have our champion, our eliminated players, and so forth. Once we reach that point we'll start the next Era.

Another thing: I realize I have not done any of the bonus game yet, and there is a reason for that. I'm hoping to get the new forum (sometime soon) to enable a more fair approach to announcing them. If we don't get the forum soon, I'll find a way to make it work.

I think that is everything, and I am looking forward to moving us in a positive direction with the league.

Hopefully all games will be active within the next day or so.

Standings update has been loaded this morning. The Overall Standings are working nicely, but something is going wrong with the Era Standings and one of the images is not showing up even after 4 attempts to upload it. I will work on fixing that as soon as possible. Hmmm.....
