Final Round

Congratulation colson. Winner of The Bachelor/Bachelorette Tournament. By a close 3 to 2 margin colson takes The Bachelorette's heart and gets the final rose. The Bachelor/Bachelorette

Here comes a tournament based off of the hit dating show. The object is to get a rose each round until you are the last man/woman standing.

Basics:
Open to premium members only as you will be playing up to 5 games at a time. The tournament is simple. You play five games and get points based on where you finish each game. The players with the most points after all five games move on to the next round. Be the last man/woman standing after 8 rounds to win the final rose.

Number of Entrants: 25 (plus 5 reserves)
Map: Random (All maps will be used once)
Game Type: Standard
Play Order: Random
Bonus Cards: Random (between Escalating and Flat Rate only)
Fortifications: Random
Fog of War: Random
Number of Games: Depending on how long you last. Minimum is 5. Maximum is 40.

Map Choices: All maps will be used once (British Isles will be used twice)

Rules:
This tournament will be run like The Bachelor/Bachelorette TV Show. We will start with 25 players. Each player will be randomly placed in a group (for a group date). Each group date will consist of 5 random games. After all games are played the lowest point scorers will not get a rose and be eliminated each round.

The 1st round there will be 5 group dates of 5 players. After all 5 group games are played the top 15 total players will receive a rose and move on to the 2nd round. The bottom 10 are eliminated and can go off crying into the camera about how nobody loves them.

The 2nd round there will be 3 group dates of 5 players. After all 5 group games are played the top 12 total players will receive a rose and move on to the 3rd round.

The 3rd round there will be 2 group dates of 6 players. After all 5 group games are played the top 9 total players will receive a rose and move on to the 4th round.

The 4th round there will be 3 groups dates of 3 players. After all 5 group games are played the top 6 total players will receive a rose and move on to the 5th round.

The 5th round there will be 1 group date of 6 players. After all 5 games are played the top 4 players will receive a rose and move on to the 6th round.

The 6th round there will be 1 group date of 4 players. After all 5 games are played the top 3 players will receive a rose and move on to the 7th round.

The 7th round there will be 1 group date of 3 players. After all 5 games are played the top 2 players will receive a rose and move onto the final round.

The final round each remaining bachelor/bachelorette will pick 2 maps and game rules (their home date). The final map will be random. It will be the best of 5 head to head with the winner getting the final rose and being crowned the winner (sorry no diamond ring will be given to the winner).

Notes:

Points will be scored based off of the following formula.

6 player games: 10/7/5/3/1/0
5 player games: 9/6/4/2/0
4 player games: 8/5/2/0
3 player games: 7/3/0

Tie breakers will be based off of most wins that round, number of 2nd place finishes that round, 3rds, etc. If there is still a tie then the final tie breaker will be how many total players in the 5 games that round that player eliminated from the game.

Stalemates: Any players still active in a game unfinished after 30 rounds will receive the number of points earned by the lowest-placing finisher still active at that point. For example, in a 5-player game, where A is eliminated in round 6, B in round 13, C in Round 31, and D defeats E in Round 40, A gets 0 points for finishing last, B gets 2 point for finishing 4th, and C, D, and E, all get 4 points (the 3rd place amount).

Round 7 is now complete. Congratulations to colson and IHuckDisc for making it to the Final 2. killmanic has been eliminated from the tournament. Great run killmanic! Unfortunately you are taking the slow walk to the rejection limo. Stay strong and try not to tear up. Love is a bitch. The Final Round has been set to see who wins the Bachelorette's heart. Good Luck!

Round 6 is complete with wolfman1969 being eliminated from the Tournament. As he takes the loser walk to the limo, the Bachelorette gives him some kind words and utters the dreaded phrase "Lets be friends". In the limo wolfman1969 tears up but stays strong. He only wishes love would have worked out this time around. Good luck next time my friend. colson, killmanic and IHuckDisc all recieved a rose and advance to the 7th round. Who will make it to our final two? Stay tuned!

Round 5 is now complete and once again wolfman1969 came out of no where to claim the last rose. Just when you thought he was out of the running he pulls it out of the hat and claims a rose. I guess that Bachelorette can't quite let go of you. Congratulations to IHuckDisc, killmanic and colson for also advancing into Round 6. topper is devastaded as he thought for sure that last rose was his but instead he is left out in the cold crying to the camera about his broken heart. And golson once again learned that his older, more handsome bigger brother always gets the girl before him. Good luck to both of you next time. For the rest... its on to round 6. Good Luck!

Round 5

Round 4 is now over and in the books and wow what a finish. It came down to the final 2 games and killmanic made a big comeback winning both of the final two games to claim one of the last few roses. colson also finished 2nd in both to get 16 points and tie Drunk_Idiot for the last rose. According to the tie-breaker rules colson gets the final rose as both had the same amount of wins and 2nd place finishes, but colson won 3-2 in the final tie-breaker rule (kills in Round 4). So by the closest margin possible colson gets the final rose and advances. Drunk_Idiot is devestated and off crying to the camera shocked at the result. madman7 and mangus are also in off crying wondering if they will ever be able to love again. Congratulations also to golson, topper, IHuckDisc, and wolfman969 for all advancing to Round 5.

Round 4 Results

Round 3 has been completed! And in dramatic fassion wolfman1969 was able to get 7 points with his 2nd place finish to leap frog ahead of herus and claim the final rose. herus looks shocked as he thought he was surely going to get one. tstoweschnell and brendan man have also been officially eliminated from the tournament. They are both off crying to the camera wondering what happened. Thanks for playing.

All Round 2 games have been completed. All Round 1 games have ended and all 15 roses have now been handed out. Congratulations to golson for dominated Round 1 with 4 wins and a 2nd place finish. 42 out of 45 points this round is quite a feat as he may be the one to beat. Also congratulations to ramsrock00, wolfman1969, colson, madman7, brendan man, herus, tstoweschnell, IHuckDisc, mangus, Drunk_Idiot, Tazza, Ghost_Rider, topper and killmanic for getting a spot in the 2nd round. You have all received a rose this round.

The 10 players that were eliminated were Kilazul, jennifermarie, jako, Peterm, amazzony, Kimi Raikkonen, Kotaro, aspalm and AtreidesHouse. They are all outside crying to the camera about how nobody loves them. Thanks for playing.
