Conqueror of Realms

Age of Realms: Magic and Might has become extremely popular. Mostly because of the large amount of armies you can get and because of the original idea of the map. I, for one, is sold on these maps. And I love to play them, especially 1v1. But, I haven’t seen a single tournament only with these 2 maps. So I decided to make this one, and I hope everyone will enjoy it!

This will be a 32 man tournament, with 6 reserves.

Each match is decided by 3 games, so the one who wins the most wins the match.
This is to make the matches less about luck, and more about skill. Because it’s very easy to lose one game because of bad luck.

The reserves will only be able to join to tournament if someone in the qualify round doesn't join.
To explain better. If i don't join my semi-final within the 48 hour limit. Then the one i won over in the quarterfinal takes my place.

Premium is needed.

There will be two Conferences.

Eastern Conference – Western Conference

The Conferences will be played as two 16-man tournaments. With Qualify Match, Quarterfinal, Semi Final and Final.
The winners of the Finals go through to the Grand Final.

Who plays against who is decided by points. There will be a Seeding, the number 1 seeded player will be the one with the highest points. And the lowest seeded will be the one with the lowest points. This is the most common way to decide who plays who in tournaments all around the globe.
This means that the one with the highest points meets the one with the least points.

When the tournament starts, all players got 48 hours to join the game. If they don't join in that time, then they are eliminated and a reserve will go in.

If i, for some reason, get complaints about the game rules. Then it is possible to change them if you come with a better idea which i like. But please don't, becuase then i have to mail everyone in the tournament about the new rules...

Winners of the Qualify Match go through to the Quarterfinals.

Quarterfinals:

Players: 1v1
Map: Age of Realms: Magic
Play order: Sequential
Cards: No cards
Fortification: Unlimited
Fog of War: Yes

Winners of the Quarterfinals go through to the Semi Finals.

Semi Finals:

Players: 1v1
Map: Age of Realms: Might
Play order: Sequential
Cards: No cards
Fortification: Unlimited
Fog of War: Yes

Winners of the Quarterfinals go through to the Final.

Final:

Players: 1v1
Map: Age of Realms: Magic
Play order: Sequential
Cards: No cards
Fortification: Unlimited
Fog of War: Yes

Winners of the Final go through to the Grand Final.

The map for the Grand Final is undecided; the two opponents will choose the map they most want to play, but only Might of Magic. If the opponents don’t want to play the same map, then it will be a random pick.

btw the final could be on the 3rd chapter Age of Mayhem map. (if it gets quenched by the time we reach the final)

and i have a suggestion about the rules. since it's a 1v1 why not make it so that each round you play a best out of 3 instead of just 1 game. of course if everybody agrees :roll:

Wasnt dreaming, it was there all along
