I have been open minded about your story Dagip, and I think what you say could be your truth. However, this is what the bible says, so I cannot believe whoever said they were Jesus, actually was Jesus..

Matthew 24...

23If anyone says to you then, Behold, here is the Christ (the Messiah)! or, There He is!--do not believe it.

If Jesus pops up out of a cloud and says,"Here I am! I'm Jesus! You guys have been waiting TWO THOUSAND Mother FUcking years for me! Wait no longer, my dear Christian freinds! For it is I, Jesus Christ, the Messiah!"

What then? Believe him? From what you quoted, you shouldn't even believe that guy, even if he is the real Jesus.

If I saw Jesus, I would kick him in the nuts for being such a dipshit and leaving all the Christians waiting for two thousand years and killing and torturing people in his holy name.

Come on guys, this is the 21st Century now. Quantum physics, evolution, genetics, cloning, the earth moves AROUND the Sun now, and we have flying machines too!

Jesus died, he said he would return within the lifetimes of his disciples didn't he? He said he would return in a short time, right?

He never did it. Let's get real here. Jesus was a man. A smart man. A peaceful man. A guy you would really like to hang out with for the day and buy him a Big Mac and talk spiritual stuff with, then give him $5 and go back home. Jesus was cool.

It is also said that when Jesus comes back, Christians well say,"See, see Lord. We did things in your name and cast out demons in your name!" Then Jesus would say,"Shut the f*ck up, I don't know you weirdos! I'm going to hang out with the Atheists and Agnostics, they got really good weed!"

Jesus might even hang out with a few Muslims too. Can you really picture Jesus hanging out with Billy Grahmcracker or the Pope in the funny fish hat?

No, I am not angry, just trying to get the point across, and these days you have to do it in a way the kids understand and can relate to, and that includes using a lot of fucks, drugs, and violence.

And that's nice of you to pray for me, I will pray for you also. Anything in particular that you want? Need a healing? I am good with healings, but you have to really believe in God.

How do you know angel Mike possibly can't be Jesus? Because "teh bible sez so and teh bible is teh üb3r1337 w0rd of godzor"? Well, show me the part where it specifically says that Jesus can't come back as angel Mike. Really, compared to what you can read in the bible DaGip's post is 99% credible.

I would drastically lower that down to about 5%, even if you do take it out of Biblical context. Me thinks they were tripping on something, possibly some LSD.

That's pretty self-defeating, mtg, if Jesus came back some day and said "Hey guys, here I am, sorry for the delay", the response would be "We don't believe you because our holy book tells us not to", and if he managed to convince a few people they'd be accused of being false prophets.

I guess people who stick to what the bible says under all circumstances won't be raptured after all...

I`m sure they`d find a loophole somewhere around there.
And if there really isn`t one, they can always claim it was one of the "metaphorical passages", or perhaps that the current version of the Bible is not accurate and go dig up an older one.

Isn`t that what usually happens with inconsistencies and such?
