Well Arsenal are going so downhill it's unbelievable.... fucking 5-8 points ahead!, we had the league in the bag the way we were going now look......THIRD!!!! in the space of a few weeks, this season ain't going as according to plan, lets hope we can beat liverpool i the CL and at the moment i'm happy if we get second in the league since our chances of winning the league are numbered.

Re: Football (real)
right a couple of International(friendlies) results.
Scotland 1 Croatia 1 not bad considering that Croatia topped Englands group and we had several players missing.
France 1 Ingerland 0
anyone see the Rio interview earlier on?
he was asked about Beckham and his 100th cap and he could not remember the 4 who have reached this milestone. he said "Peter Shilton, Bobby Moore and the others" what an idiot and you've got him as captain. is it not Sir Bobby Moore and at his own club a director in Sir Bobby Charlton. fair enough if he forgot about Billy Wright(he did mainly play in the 50's), but it was only 4 names.

Re: Football (real)
I want becks back as captain atleast with him we didn't lose as bad as this, but considering france is a good team i don't mind england loosing if it was 3-0 then no way.

Re: Football (real)
MLS needs your help guys.
First off, I need to tell you the story.
In 2009, a team in Seattle (owned by comedian Drew Carey) will start play. He has allowed fans to vote on a name. The favorite at first was "Seattle Sounders," after the NASL (the league with the New York Cosmos) and now USL (American 2nd division soccer) team with plenty of history in the area. However, the name was not included as an option (Seattle FC, Seattle Alliance, and Seattle Republic were options). All 3 options sound stupid. However, write-ins are allowed. Let's do MLS a favor and save it from one of the 3 cheesy names. If you want, vote for Seattle Sounders.

Thanks very much.

Re: Football (real)
Seattle FC doesn't sound so bad. What is it with you Americans that means you need to give teams unnecessarily flash names? Saying that, this particular case is exempted as you want the retro-ness of Seattle Sounders.
Did the Sounders have any big names back in the day? You know, like Pele, Beckenbauer, Neeskens etc etc etc.
