yeah, it's definately not a clan war game. i was just really lucky and honored to be invitedBENJIKAT IS DEAD wrote:Jamie wrote:The PW was way too easy to guess, lol
Game number 2000000 is between The Imperial Dragoons, and Legends of War.
So you hijacked the game - very poor form imo - private games are meant to be that.
And also The Fuzzy Pengui is actually in The Untouchables as you can see above.
and jamie if you did hijack (i'm not sure who all bro invited), that's really poor form

I mean it's ok you have created it, good job than you just overextended and the finest clan in cc had to come in between.

Risk is a game of war. part of war is cracking enemy codes, so trying to guess ones PW to a private game is not being a poor sport, it's the risk version of codebreaking. I guessed it on the FIRST try. I could come up with thousands of PW's that no one would ever guess, so if I guess somebodies PW on the first try, than it is their fault for using such a ridiculously easy PW. Using 3 random letters like BHT, would never be guessed, and is easy enough to remember. Don't use a word that members of the site can easily associate with you.

wait, he GUESSED a password and hijacked the game? ha!!!! and then benjiMultikat said:
maybe you should just learn how to make better passwords... you know, to like, keep someone from hijacking your account and allegedly setting up hundreds of games and abandoning them, leading you to creating a Mod approved multiple account... ahem... you don't seem to understand the concept behind a password...-0BENJIKAT IS DEAD wrote:I just think it's incredibly rude of you.

second, just because you are upset you didn't create the game doesn't mean that you have to hijack someone else's. don't get me wrong, we'll enjoy the points the dragoons give us, but it's still childish to hijack.
there are also commonly accepted rules of engagement. one of those rules for conquer club's version of "war" (which it isn't...) is not to hijack other people's games. congrats...you just donated our team some points, but not hijacking is one of the rules of engagement well over 90% of conquer club members accept.jamie wrote:Risk is a game of war. part of war is cracking enemy codes, so trying to guess ones PW to a private game is not being a poor sport, it's the risk version of codebreaking.

I didn't HIJACK the game. I simply guessed the right PW on the very first try. If I had went to a lot of effort to figure out the PW, than it might be called hijacking. I simply got lucky. Also, I'd be curious to know where you got that 90% figure. Is that in a poll from a prior thread, or did you just make that up?

It's something I'm assuming because there aren't many threads about hijacking games (compared to the total number of threads). I would even venture to say that most likely over 95% of conquer club members don't hijack games (but that's just my opinion).Jamie wrote: I didn't HIJACK the game. as far as "not hijacking", you are saying that me just randomly guessing the password to your account in one try would not be considered "hacking into/breaking into" your account (as opposed to trying to "brute force" my way in)? because both of those are the same thing...it's a password because it's meant to be private...

I didn't hack into anyones account. It isn't the same thing. I would get permabanned if I even logged into someone elses account without permisson. I set up a poll to test your 90% figure. So far, only 40% say I was wrong. The Fuzzy Pengui wrote:It's something I'm assuming because there aren't many threads about hijacking games (compared to the total number of threads). I saw the poll, and we will see what it says (but remember the majority of CC doesn't enter the forumsJamie wrote:I didn't hack into anyones account. It isn't the same thing. Can you honestly say that you would have only tried 1 password, and if that didn't work you would have quit? NO you can't because YOU wanted in that game because it's game 2,000,000. You would have only stopped if you ran out of passwords to try.

I was going to try 3 times, because there were only 3 reasonable guesses, and one of them was shaky. Also, the majority of people may not vote, but as long as we get to 100 votes cast, that would reflect the overall opinion pretty closelyThe Fuzzy Pengui wrote:I saw the poll, and we will see what it says (but remember the majority of CC doesn't enter the forumsJamie wrote:I didn't hack into anyones account. Not really sure what you want me to say, because at this point we are just going to start repeating ourselves.Jamie wrote: I was going to try 3 times, because there were only 3 reasonable guesses, and one of them was shaky. And I would say we would need about 150-200 votes, since there are thousands of players active...but I would say 100 would be fairly accurate

I'm only adding jamie (for now at least) because we don't know the other two players knew they were hijacking the game. For all we know, jamie told them to join a game he was invited to.TheBro wrote:Whatever, it happened. GL guys, and they are all on my ignore now.

I know, I don't really care that much about it. I guess it was just anticlimactic, after the party that was thrown for the 1 millionth game. oh well... maybe they'll do something for the ten-millionth game!edbeard wrote:I know this wasn't your point, but this is still a problem.
