"I am no feeble Christ not me. He hangs in glib delight upon his cross, above my body. Christ forgive. FORGIVE? I vomit for you Jesu. Shit forgive. Down from your cross. Down from your papal heights, from that churlish suicide petulant child. Down from those pious heights, royal flag bearer, goat, billy. I vomit for you. Forgive? Shit he forgives. He hangs in crucified delight nailed to the extent of his vision, his cross, his manhood, violence, guilt, sin. He would nail my body upon his cross, suicide visionary, death reveller, rake, rapist, lifefucker, Jesu, earthmover Christus, gravedigger, you dug the graves of Auschwitz, the soil of Treblinka is your guilt, your sin, master, master of gore, enigma. You carry the standard of your oppression. Enola is your gaiety. The bodies of Hiroshima are your delight, the nails are your only trinity, hold them in your corpsey gracelessness, the image I have had to suffer. The cross is the virgin body of womanhood that you defile. You nail yourself to your own sin. Lamearse Jesus calls me sister there are no words for my contept, every woman is a cross in his filthy theology, his arrogant delight. He turns his back upon me in his fear, he dare not face me. Fearfucker. Share nothing you Christ, sterile, impotent, fucklove prophet of death. You are the ultimate pornography, in your cuntfear, cockfear, manfear, womanfear, unfair, warfare, warfare, warfare, warfare, warfare, warfare, warfare, warfare.

Just thought I'd share a nice little poem with you.

Seperation of church and state was a huge part of the first democrocy of a western style society and continues to be a strongly supported part of that country's make up.

Strangely enough at some point the official religion became Catholicism, partly because there started to be plenty of strange religions developing that the king of the time didn't like and partly to allow for the albegiesan (I most likely miss spelled that) crusade I would suspect. Unfourtunatly my sources for that information may be inacurate.

Though it is a fact that the official legaly sanctioned religion is Catholicism and it's very seperate from the state.

If you are Catholic there you must get married twice. Once at the city hall and once at the church as niether recognise the other.

I would recommend you move there it's actually a very nice place in the south where the english speaking tourists and the locals get along.

You can take the chunnel from Dover to get there. Once you land go as far south as fast as you can. Unless you like bickering with them over language issues. ie. "zhay voh dray un aaaaambergare." "uuuuhhh?"

"Separation of Church and State" is constantly misinterpreted. It was mean to protect the Church from the State

The irony here is almost overpowering.

And the news has always been bad. So what.

If you're saying that the Church can engage in politics then you are also saying that the state can engage in religion.

Our Lady, Who art for Liberty, hallowed by thy name.
The religion of America, I like that idea. The Declaration of Independence and the Constitution would then replace the Bible. THe Saints would be replaced with the founding fathers. God would become Liberty.

I'd gladly worship Liberty! What a great idea, thanks Jay.

I hate to break it to you, but the sword does cut both ways. If religion can stray into the state's affairs then the inverse is also true. The old defense "Freedom of religion doesn't mean freedom from religion" isn't applicable in this situation. The state cannot promote one religion over another, so any adoption of the Christian agenda is unconstitutional. Religious arguments against things like same-sex marriage, the teaching of evolution, or the teaching of real sex-ed are meaningless in a state setting. If taxes pay for it, it can't be religious. That's what the amendment means.

Jay it seems to me that the only way to allow freedom of religion and equal representation is to remove religion from matters of governemnt. How does a xtian govenrment passing xtian laws represent America's Muslims, Sikhs etc?

Well, considering that N. Korea is (quite possibly) armed with nukes, an attack might not be the most prudent course of action. Nothing will happen, except the rest of the world will have to stop writing KJI off as some nut. Now they'll have to listen to him, because he's got the bomb now. Diplomacy is the only course of action, and let us pray that the US and N. Korea don't become stuck in some new verison of the Cuban Missle Crisis, because Bush can't handle that level of pressure.

well, that's why you arent getting the news!!!!! they'd rather talk about Steve Irwin than Iraq! i suggest a newspaper, specifically a liberal one to see just how much bad stuff you can put in a couple sheets of paper, although Conservative papers will do fine as well, considering that they like bad stuff too

wait, there's no such thing as a conservative paper!!!

I saw the cover of one of the papers here. I guess something is going on in Korea about now.

Big letters front page didn't pay much attention.

I was eating and looking through the local musician ads in weekly art paper.

England's got nukes, Russia has nukes, Israel has nukes, and so does India.

NATO and the UN both have access to nuclear countries, and China hates KJI as much as we do. N. Korea nukes someone, they're gonna get spanked by the other nuclear powers.

Why do you think that nobody'll help us out? Because of the Iraq war? That's peanuts compared to full-on nuclear conflict.

They were still nice when we didn't tip very well though.
