I didn't know I don't usually follow this. So why hasn't anyone done it yet?

If you're going to do it, make it a little more interesting than standard Risk mechanics, like territories that have dinosaurs and cause -1 per turn. Perhaps a mix of AoR and normal Risk. We've got a ton of simple Risk maps as it stands...

well, i'm no map maker, but i was thinking of something because of a recent pangea thread that popped up again.
we all know that pangea was some back in the day stuff, but what about the future?
continental drift is a real thing, and at some point, the west coasts of NA and SA will collide with europe and australia or something...
maybe there is a cartographer out there who would be interested in imagining such a place and developing that map.
or not. it's just an idea...

And a very good idea it is. There is a very good map in the foundry, but unfortunatly it has been abandoned.

I think it would be cool for someone to make a pangea map, have it have all the countries as classic, but all joined in one giant landmass, including more countries for antarctic.

This has been attempted - and there are a few threads already out there with this map in development. They may be abandoned though.

Lots of people have been talking about it, so I decided to make one. A MAP OF PANGEA!
Let it be known that this is probably the roughest draft one can make. I still need to:
-split each country into sections
-differentiate colors
-make a map key
-and make it generally better and more fun
Please make comments.

no not the way kap has it, kap has it that the sun is more towards the top, which leaves a shadow down at the bottom

There is a theory that Pangea never existed... Check out the link... Apparently a scientist in the 30's came up with this and it has a small following. Very interesting though... It may help you with your pangea map. Good luck

Threadjack here as well... but I really really really loved the pangaea ultima map that was abandoned some time ago. This could serve as inspiration for ThrowinStones as well I guess. Beatiful map. Too bad the map maker's last post was November 2007
