new idea
I just had another idea today, what about a computer circut board???
I would have a hard time trying to come up with a design for it, but it might be pretty cool.
Another step further might be to make a map of an entire home computer, including;
-moniter
-keyboard
-speakers
-mouse
-other attachments and parts to a computer
I mean we all use computers, so it might be about time we make a map on one.
P.S. I dont have any experience on making maps, but I would be happy to learn how to make them with a little guidence and help.

That said, I would say no. But it keeps coming up, so you could try again. Eventually someone has to make a good one.gavin_sidhu wrote:Been thought of before.kayakninja wrote:A computer map... That's an interesting idea. You could have the motherboard divided up into a couple things, have the drives as one continent... I'm a little short on other ideas for continents, though. Any ideas?

Here are 3 that have been to do with computers, all have failed.

Map Ideas: The Hobbit - Lord of the Rings
The Hobbit - Lord of the Rings would be a fantastically fun Risk map to play on
College Football Map
A fun USA map could be based on college NCAA conferences with
regions of the country broken into:
- SEC
- BIG10
- ACC
- WAC
- MTN WEST
- PAC-10 as regions to be conquered
and
individual schools like
- Florida
- Notre Dame
- Texas
- USC
- Colorado
- North Carolina
representing entities like individual countries
Example:
SEC: Alabama, Arkansas, Auburn, LSU
PAC10: Washington, USC, UCLA, UofC
WAC: UtahState, Fresno, Boise
MWEST: AirForce (ColoradoSprings), BYU (ProvoUT), Wyoming
BIG10: .... etc.
It might capture the interest of both Risk/ConquerClub fans and sports fans and college students all in a single framework.
Just a thought.
Wish I had time to do it. It would be fun.

I'm from Canada and I posted that idea because it makes sense just like Lord of the Rings makes sense for those interested in it. Besides, if it would work for College football, why not for World Cup Soccer as well? Its not about political interests its about finding ideas that capture peoples attention. What about breaking a map into regions like they do for World Cup soccer so the regions represented the groups that move someone into the actual tournament? It captures my interest. Anyone else.

I would help you with names and the overall geography, if you mad the US map. or we could make an NFL map and the continents would be the Divisons EX: NFC West= Seahawks, 49ers, Rams and Cardinals. that would be fun. but, i would rather make a huge, like 60 country or more NCAA map
