I think keeping track of posting is pretty stupid, especially punishing people for it

I agree, but if im not permitted to post "updated" to let everyone know the high scores have been updated, than I guess I cant do it. Most players enjoy the thread and work hard to get and see their name on the list. And honestly I dint mind spending a little extra time on here to maintain it and help build a fun/competive atmosphere on the site since it doesnt keep track of true stats ( but we do for post  ). but you always have those that will never reach high ranks so they complain about what they cant accomplish to make themselves feel better for their average/below average performances. and as you see, I lost 80 post today but would be very willing to have a post reset to show how stupid it is to keep track of and complain about.

Hey JR, your work in keeping that thread up-to-date is much appreciated.

Just as an idea to get around your problem... perhaps what you could do is when you update the first post, copy it and post it as a new post to bump the thread. That way you keep the thread active but you can't be accused of spamming because you're actually posting new information. Just my thoughts anyway.

thanks GK but im not looking to create a loop hole here. I will continue to update the thread and every now and than I will respond to a post just to bump it up to the top.

Clearly, unless you are IMMORTAL, and have infinite time on your hands, no one is going to read that guff.
No one cares, Johhny, ABOUT POST COUNTS.

I think people do care. They just need to click on page one of the top score thread if they would like to see any updates. As for JR having 80 posts deleted.I'm grateful that one of the Mods has found the time to do this.Maybe JR could have done it for them if having them deleted was so meaningless. It frees up space for more important stuff.
