Option for clan "tags"

I am sure someone has posted this before maybe... but there should be a way that players can put in a clan TAG (Acronym) in front of their in-game names.

There should be an option in prefrences or something.

There are TONS of clans on CC now, and unlike any other game (in which screen names are changable)...we here at CC cannot represent our clans through a tag.

I would love for my name Clockwork to be .:[Legion]:.Clockwork or something.

too hard? bad idea? or good?

I don't like it. It'll unnecessarily crowd the gamespace, game logs, game chat and the MyGames page. It may also lead to unfounded cheating accusations if you make a dumb move in a game and then there's a glaring reminder you're in the same clan with someone else in the game. While that certainly may be the case in some games, it's not the norm. I think it would lead to increased accusations. That and the clutter, no thanks.

I agree that the gamespace should be left uncluttered from this - but the forums themselves are a different matter...

What if you're in a bunch of clans, would it be some retarded amount of names in front of your name?

I don't think this is a good idea at all- maybe on your profile page they could be listed, but 100% where you suggested it.

I think the current system is fine. If you want to list your clan in your avatar or signature, you have that option. Doesn't get in the way that much (although signatures can be annoying overall). Some people are in more than one clan and some change theirs weekly.

so...do mods usually reject every suggestion people make?

jesus... CC is the only only only game where you cannot Tag up. "Clutter"...adding 4 characters to your name? What if the acronyms could be 4 characters or 5 long max?

sigh......don't know why people make suggestions!
