I just installed GM and AJAX BOB, and for some reason the numbers on the map are shown in doublevision. I mean that the number of armies in a territory is displayed once, then overlayed with an identical number, offset just a little to make the number hard to read. I love the script, but this bug is annoying enough that I'll probably remove it, unless someone knows what's wrong.

In the Map Options menu (on the left under Personal Menu), you will find soem maop alignment adjusters, which you need to play with until the numbers line up.

Thank you VERY much. Now I can appreciate this script fully!BENJIKAT IS DEAD wrote:Hi there,Ditocoaf wrote:I just installed GM and AJAX BOB, and for some reason the numbers on the map are shown in doublevision. For all you BOB fans out there - the new version is almost ready for release...
It's in BETA testing at the moment - and it's firming up nicely...
There are a few bug fixes - and a whole new feature...
And just to build some anticipation... I'll tell you what it's called...
"Snapshots"
What could that be then?

new feature suggestion:
An end attacks confirmation window that tells me if I did not take any territories in a cards game.
Why it is needed:
Sometimes I deploy all my armies on one territory and use them to attack a territory that I need to take and expect to take... but I get really unlucky and do not take the territory. Then I end my attacks because I did not have any other attacks planned, but I forget that I never really took a territory... when, if I wouuld have realized that, I would have tried a 1v1 or 2v1 just to get my card (esp on a flat rate game). I usually don't realize that I did this until I end forts and see that I did not get a new card... so the existing end attacks confirmation does not help me in this matter.

It's an idea... but surely this just comes down to correct play?!Stoney229 wrote:new feature suggestion:

Yes, it seems to me to be a helper-reminder that is very consistent with the basic features of BOB.yowzer14 wrote:But then so can the same be said about BOB in general....yeti_c wrote:It's an idea... but surely this just comes down to correct play?!Stoney229 wrote:new feature suggestion:

VERSION : 4.3.1
New Features
Snapshots...
If you click "Snapshots" you will be presented with the following options…
"Take Snapshot"
- Takes and saves a Snapshot
“Analyse Snapshot”
- If you have a Snapshot – this shows you what has changed between the selected Snapshot and Live
“Revert to Live”
- Returns the user to the current state.
A list of available snapshots will be displayed by showing the Round Number & the Date & Time the snapshot was taken.
- The snapshot will go BOLD when selected.
“Delete Game Snapshots”
- Deletes all Snapshots for this game.
“Delete All Snapshots”
- Deletes all stored Snapshots.
Click on one of the newly displayed snapshots - and this will load up your snapshot...
What does this involve?
The "Army Image" is swapped out for the old image.
The "Army Array" is swapped out for the old army array.
And the log is only processed upto the date of the snapshot.
Why?
This will then allow you to see all the stats... all the map how it was - and use Map Inspect, Text map etc with the old stats...
How to return?
Click Refresh, Press an action Button or Click “Revert to Live” in the snapshots menu.
Limitations...
The image save will ONLY save what you saw at the time - what do I mean by this? This means you will save a small or large image - with or without colour codes...
So if you're one of these weird people (like me) who uses different sizes all the time - then the snapshot will be in the original size.
Also – if you visit a finished game – the script will ask you if you wish to delete all snapshots for that game.
New Continents & Objective Calculation.
Continents & Objectives are finally fully updated to the latest XML structures – this will show no difference to the general user but will ensure compatibility for all future maps within the current XML structure.
ClickJumpers added to player names in Stats table
From the Stats table you can now click on the Player names – and this will show you on the map who owns what… This is particularly useful for Neutral and Unknown territories.
Fixed
Objective Summary now formatted better.

yay!! I can't wait to use it.... and it feels great to know that it has already been beta tested and I don't have to be anxious about installing it! Thanks!
Also... the "Snapshots" thing is indeed what I was going to suggest. great job. you have by far the best gm script out there.
