Washington was an evil Satan worshipper.

I tried to quickly find the statue of him and the picture of that evil goat, where they share the same pose.

I'm sure most of you know what I'm talking about.

I'm not a big fan, cos of Vietnam, but surprised no ones come out to defend Johnson.

they are all good prez in trying times except bill clinton i just hate him i dont know why ......but as for the best or greatest i cant say because even history today is still looking back at the things washington did

You mean the guy responsible for the economic disaster we have today?
The New Deal is the worst thing that ever happened to the U.S. economy.
It created a welfare state full of entitlement programs that has mutated into the pathetic "the government should help me" mentality that is today.

Low taxes, slashing the number of gov't handout programs, low spending, a strong defense, and an emphasis on personal responsibility & freedom (i.e. get the government out of people's lives) are the marks of what makes a great president.

Actually it was Chinese that made the first step. Then we must give credits to American table tennis (ping-pong) team. Then we must say "it was all Kissinger's fault that today America owns billions to China" (foreign exchange).

The guy was quite a decent general (not in Napolean's class, or Wellington's but not bad) but as a President...HE WAS JUST A FIGURE HEAD!
A nice enough guy, I'm sure, but not great. Now Jefferson, there was a dude.

Actually, he was very successful in keeping European powers from taking advantage of a weak fledgling nation. Proclamation of Neutrality anyone? Basically THE foreign policy until McKinley and his Spanish-American War.

Well, assuming you are, you're correct. He was very successful in helping dissolve the Austro-Hungarian Empire and reshaping the political landscape of the Balkans. So I don't blame you for having a high opinion of him. I do too, in fact, but domestically, he wasn't quite as strong, so definitely it has to go to Washington and Roosevelt.

I'm pretty sure he didn't initiate the secession...

In fact, I'm 99% sure that South Carolina succeeded just because he was elected. Lincoln had nothing to do with it.

As for the genocide, I'm sure you're speaking of Sherman's march, in which case, such is the life of war. I'm not saying the war was necessary, I mean, hey, if the states want to leave, let them. But when the SOUTH fires the first shot of the war, they can't expect that it's going to get much more pleasant.

Also, Reagan didn't defeat Communism. The USSR was about crumble anyway. The most Reagan did was speed it up a bit.
