i will think about that, however, it's more like a bracket system, and therefore a point penalty won't be an option, but maybe there is some other option to solve it.

that is a good idea, but then again, what would be the settings of the tiebreaker?

if i get the same setts, it might result in just another stalemate, but if i chooce other setts will that be fair?

in the case of a tie breaker round / stalemate have the two stalemated teams play a 12 or 24 (to make it even for 4 players) round game, team with more armies and/or territs wins if the game is not over by finishing round.

Something along those lines I'm thinking ^_^

if it is full by then i might consider, off course i will send every team a message once it is full and with the expected launch date.

if about 90% of the teams can play at that date and just some teams can't then you can send me a message and delay your start a few days, or ask for a temporarly stand-in or something, in case you are on vacantion in that week.

in case a game last over 40 turns and seems to be endless, a tie-breaker game with the following settings will be held between the 'stalemates':

note the settings are slightly different from the 'regular' tournament settings to hopefully speed the game up a bit.

i added the above lines to the starting post (i changed the order of some items in the post as well to make it more clear (i moved the more important notes up))

i hope that is a good solution to possible stalemates?
