I personally haven't had too much of a prob with multi's, (knock on wood), but it seems like the problem is way out of control. I know that Lack is reluctant to ban multiple users who use the same ip addy for fear that he will unfairly punish people who use school computer labs, but I think that the risk/benfit analysis pertaining to the implementation of such a rule has shifted radically in favor of banning multiple users on the same IP. With probably over 500 abuses this looks to be way out of control.
My earlier suggestion was to allow the multiple users on a single IP if one of them would spring for a premium account. At least that would give these people a way to play if they really wanted too.
Another idea is to preclude multiple users on the same IP unless the users formally apply to Lack for that privilege. A simple email to lack saying that the person goes to Y.U. and asking that he be exempt from the rule would be enough. I'd be willing to bet that such a rule would reduce this, the biggest problem we have here, by at least 50%, if not much more.
